What is on your current workout playlist?

After losing a ton of baby weight and feeling decent about myself last year, the weight has back on after weaning.  I am motivated to eat better and start a workout routine to get the pounds back off before my 10 year anniversary in November.  So, what have you been listening to while you workout?

Mostly Dr. Phil and Keeping Up With The Kardashians reruns.

    Oh, you mean music?

Seriously, I can't stop watching these shows at the gym. I switch back and forth and it's lots of dysfunction and distraction while I exercise.

But in all seriousness, when I do use music it's all 80s. I will have some 90s (Pearl Jam, Toad, CC, Live).  Oh, and the usual dose of hair bands.
Yeah, I am going to hit the pavement, so I need music for my iPod.  I am looking at getting an elliptical for home since I know I SUCK at ever going to the gym and it just won't happen.  So for now, portable entertainment it is.

  • I've been a fan lately of the Justin Timberlake station on pandora (shut up lol!). I also do 90s stations, Billy Joel. I switch around a lot and love pandora because I don't have to buy anything or pre plan, just pick what mood I'm in and go!

  • I am super into Spotify right now. They have so many pre-made lists and then I "star" the songs I like. So now I have a nice little list of my own. Off the top of my head, my list has Turn Down For What, Bizarre Love Triangle, Don't you Worry Child, When You Were Young, Applause, work Bitch. I am kind of all over the place lol

  • Maybe I'm weird but I like to listen to books on my iPod. Yup, even when I work out and even on the rare times that I run. I get bored too easily and listening to a book distracts me. I get a book on cd at the library and put it on my computer to put on my iPod.
