Idk if you've seen this, but it's entertaining. But it's very similar to when we disconnected our cable when we moved. Even though we said we moving out of their coverage... in our case they wouldn't believe us until we gave our new zip code.
I haaaaaate comcast customer service! We just dropped them a couple months ago. Although I didn't face anything like this, it's a bit ridiculous when you try to cancel. Now I'm getting a TONS of junk mail from them trying to win me back.
Had the same experience when we moved ! I had to spend ten minutes convincing the guy we were moving somewhere where there was no Comcast. The sad thing is Comcast is acting like this was a one time mistake but I am sure this is the way they train their employees. So irritating !
That was physically painful. I sadly live in an area where Comcast is about our only option and will have to be setting up a new account with them when we move in a couple of weeks. I am starting to wonder if internet is really worth it anyway...
I used to work for Verizon residential, and complaints such as this about Comcast were very common. I would hear about it at least fifty times a day. lol
Ha! We made a switch from our past cable company because it was so expensive and they wouldn't give us a break on anything, so we moved to another company who offered us more and half the price for 2 years. A week later the original company sent people to our HOUSE to ask us why we stopped using them and if we would be interested in a "deal" created "just for us."
Funny - they wouldn't work with me on pricing when I threatened to leave, but when I did actually leave now they want to give me the price I originally wanted. They're like those desperate shitty ex-boyfriends who only want to be with you when they see you with someone else.
I have a headache from the repeated same question over and over and over again. Why do you want to leave? What can we do to make our company better? They are like time Warner in my area. We had 2 sales associate knock on our door one late night (like 8 pm) FI used to open the door for everyone so thisis how we got caught up in the big sales pitch.
-for literally half an hour these 2 guys went over the same package, offering skintimax to FI over and over as part of any package he chose as I'm standing right behind him. The package was only going to cost $150 a month (nope). Finally i got frustraited and blurted out that i have an autoimmune disease, my meds cost an extreme amount of money and we can't afford their package. So for another 15 minutes they offered skintimax to a cheaper package.needless to say we no longer open the door to sales associates.

It is stories like this that make me love having Great Danes. No one tends to stay longer than handing me a brochure as they are terrified of my sweet babies
