Best fertility app

I've always used Period Tracker on my iPhone to track my periods. Since my husband and I have decided it's time to start a family I've also been using Ovia fertility app as well as Kindara. So far all the projected information on all 3 apps is the same as far as predicted fertility days and upcoming periods/ovulation. I'm curious though if anybody has a preference on fertility apps? Are some better than others? And do they actually work?

It's the only app that will actually analyze all the data you put in.  I've tested out some of the other apps with the same data and they just aren't as good.

  • Fertility Friend FTW, you won't get recommendations for much of anything else around here. The others you listed are all crap.

  • Unless you're temping, all the apps will give you the same info because they're making a wild guess based on your cycle length. Get Fertility Friend, do the tutorials, track your temps & learn what YOUR fertile window is.

  • I have a question i tried using FF and downloaded the app and it did not want to work . So i went to google tried looking for it ones i searched it and found it i started using it their and im confused to what i was looking at . I am trying to temp. this month and i want to use this app becaus i have heard alot of good things . Can anyone help and explain how to use FF ?
  • You press the data button and put your temp in the temp box.  Make sure you also track your period on the applicable days.  You can choose to input any other data (CM, OPKs, symptoms, etc).  Make sure you save.

If you want to know more about how charting works, take the online course that FF offers.

Also, make sure you are signed in under the same username on your phone and computer so that it syncs properly.
