Wubbanub??

Worth the price? I mean $13 for a paci?!? Opinions please.

Re: Wubbanub??

  • I love it!!!

  • Love love because my LO has trouble hanging on to the paci so the wubbanub helps it still in his mouth.
  • @izzetoot‌ I'm sold. So adorable. Thanks girls. I was on the fence bc of the price but the vicious cycle of spitting out and putting it back is driving me nuts!!
  • I just ordered one. Hoping it will restore our middle of the night sanity. @MegEL85‌ is LO really replacing it? That is my hope.
  • Ours came today! Excited to try it out once dd stops eating constantly :)

    Will add cuteness soon

Omg I need to buy one!
  • Love it. I looked up DIY ones and someone suggested using beanie babies to make your own.

How do you clean/sterilize the wubbanub. I threw it in the wash machine but I don't know if that is the correct way.
  • It is a little disappointing that you can't replace the smoothie on the end. Is there a trick any of you know? I assume that it is very helpful in preventing the smoothie from falling out or makes it harder for babe to spit it out.

I just bought two and my baby (4 weeks on Tuesday) keeps losing it and spitting it out lol. Ill keep trying though I think she might be too young right now lol.
  • LO is 4 weeks and can't seem to find it when she loses it. I'm hopeful that she'll start finding it soon! She usually ends up sucking on the arm or something instead.

Same for me with this and her other soothies, she will suck/chew on the back of her hands.

  • My girls each have one (and DD1 is very particular about them always having the correct one). I love them! They haven't figured out how to put them in but they seem to spit them out less. I need to order replacements :)

  • You ladies convinced me. I ordered my LO the giraffe! :)

Ditto. I ordered the kitty early this morning while I was having insomnia. Then of course today DD kept dropping her paci, thus reaffirming my sleep deprived purchase. Lol. It should be here tomorrow, yay!

  • Glad this post has benefitted so many of us. Like I said before it's a little bit of sticker shock but when other moms are supportive of a product it makes it easier to dish out the $$$. Lol.

My kitty wubanub just arrived from amazon. Can't wait to see how she likes it! Thanks for the recommendation, she loves her soothie so thinking this will be better since she constantly drops it out.
  • I think wubbanub just got a surge in sales after this post. I order the giraffe. I have a lot of problems with DS being fussy in the car so I am hoping that keeping one of these in my car will be the magical answer

  • Anyone have experience with paci-plushies? LO loves his MAM and avent and I'm not sure he will take to a soothie.

  • Thanks for asking @smhorak‌. I'm wondering the same thing. DS prefers the Gerber First Essentials pacifiers because they bend away from his nose andhe didn't like the smoothie very much.

All of this talk about wubanubs inspired the following.  It is what I think of whenever I use Soothies.

  • Might as well join in and share LO's love for her wubbanub. I'm also getting the Paci buddies or whatever (can't remember what is called exactly) this weekend because what baby girl doesn't deserve a unicorn attached to her Paci?
