We don't share names with family so I need your opinion.

  • I think it's super cute!
  • I know two little boys named Camden so I associate it with being more masculine. My daughter is Camryn and she is nicknamed Cammie(by others, not me.)
  • Camden was #99 in ranking last year for boys, and doesn't hit the top 1,000 for girls at all.  So, I'd say that it's definitely a boy's name, not really a unisex name.  Cammie is a super cute nickname for a girl though and there are definitely other ways to get there: Cameron, Camille, and Camilla all come to mind.

  • I definitely picture it as a boy's name. I really like Cameron (Cammie nn) for a girl though!

  • Actually, a daughter of someone I teach with is named Camden, nn Cam. I hadn't ever heard it before and just assumed it was a girl name.

Then, last year, another teacher had a baby boy and named him Camden. That's when I found out that it can be a unisex name, but it is typically a boy name.

That being said, the little girl is adorable and her name just fits her.

  • I know a woman who named her girl Kamden, I prefer the way you have spelled it though. Also I know a Camille and she's sometimes cammie which works for her
