We use Halo sleep sacks and are just swaddling one arm in this week. Next week we'll move to both arms out, but still velcroed and snug around the torso. Once he's used to that then we'll hopefully drop the torso wrapping and just use sleep sacks.
We used A+A blankets to swaddle from the beginning. He quickly wanted hands out so we torso/leg swaddled for a while. Gradually loosed the swaddle over a few nights and then started using the A+A sleep sacks.

I voted cold turkey... We've been swaddling arms out in a+a blankets for five straight days now. So far so good- can't complain bc bubba's still STTN although he's doing 5-6 hour stretches instead of 7-8. Again, can't complain because that's solid, delicious sleep for mama.
We did cold turkey. The first night was awesome - she still slept until 6 am. The last few nights she has been up every couple of hours but I also went back to work so she has that transition going on at the same time.

We're taking it day by day. We have a halo sleep sack and have been using it since he was about 5 weeks I think. It's been about 2 or 3 weeks since he was arms-in at night, because it seemed he was waking up when his arm got stuck half way out and he was poking his eyes out. We had four whole days of arms out during the day and then he regressed. Got arms-in if he was napping (which wasn't much). The last two days he has napped arms out.
A combination of everything so far. Tried cold turkey, 1 arm out in the halo, the Aussie swaddle & the zippadeezip. Do far we have had the most success with the zippadeezip, but I'm still only averaging maybe 5 hours of sleep broken up into 1 or 2 hour stretches. A friend is giving me the Merlin majic sleepsuit next week so we will see if that helps or not.
We've been using the halo sleep sack and stopped swaddling her arms in around 3 months because she was rolling to her side at night and it freaked me out. Ever since then she hasn't had more than a 4-5 hour stretch of sleep (before she was having 6+ hour stretches). I'm not sure if not swaddling has anything to do with that or if she's just going through a phase.
We quit cold turkey last week because it has been 80-85 degrees in the house at bedtime. He usually wakes up after 8ish hours because he's too cold. I feed him really quick and put a sleep sack on him. I think he would be sleeping longer if it weren't for the drastic temperature drop.
@Amsull324 - Our LO is rolling onto her side as well - she seems to like sleeping that way actually - so even if we wanted to go back to swaddling because her sleep has gone to crap I don't think we could. I am hoping she adjusts soon. She just seems so restless - I feel bad for her!
