Trying to Get Pregnant

I'm not sure what's going on…(semi-newbie)

I posted this under TWW, but wanted to see if there was anyone else that had an insight on any of my questions that wasn't in TWW.

I have questions and would appreciate any answers I can get from you experienced ladies!  I used to post a lot when I was TTC in Feb.  I got bfp right away but miscarried just 2 weeks later.  We've been ttc now since May.  I have 2 questions… I have had brown spotting a couple days after my period ends since my first miscarriage in Dec 2012.  I didn't think it was anything wrong with that but now I just read in TCOYF that it may mean that my body is not shedding the uterine lining sufficient and therefore it might be hard for a fertilized egg to implant.  Does anyone know anything about this?  I will call my OB about this if I do not get a BFP this month.  2nd question… can someone please chart stalk me.  The last 2 months I've been ovulating very early.. like 12dpo.  And if the uterine lining is not sufficient for implantation and I'm ovulating early maybe my body is not ready even if the egg is fertilized.. does that make sense?  on 1 dpo and 3 dpo I woke up in the middle of the night (after 3 hours sleep) and took my temp both times it was 97.5 but then both times woke up at 7am and took my temp again and it is higher.  I recorded the temp at 7am…. is that correct that I took the 2nd temp?  and now I have a flat line…
I haven't been active on this board since my miscarriage so if there is answers to these questions in earlier post I appologize.

Sorry about your loss.  I didn't think ovulating on CD12 was considered too early for the egg to mature.  I asked my OB about spotting since my miscarriage...he said it was normal.  I would use the first temp - temping twice usually just causes confusion.

If you are getting flat temps that usually indicates your thermometer is being wonky.

Thank you… I'm going to change.  So, when I wake up in the middle of the night do I take my temp? or wait until I wake up again at 7?

    My Ovulation Chart
  • CD12 is most definitely not too early to ovulate, obviously if 14 is the average then it's normal for there to be those who ovulate earlier and those who ovulate later. Either is just fine.

Spotting in the days before or after your period is completely normal, you're really making a mountain out of a molehill trying to read a problem into a couple of days of spotting post-period being so catastrophic.

Lastly, you're only a few months out from your most recent loss and you've only been TTC again for a couple of those months, your body is likely still finding its way after all it's gone through and settling on what could possibly be a new 'normal'.   You do not need to call your OB in a panic if you "do not get a BFP this month".  The clock resets after a loss, it can still take up to a year to conceive if you're under 35 years old, or 6 months if you're over 35.  You're still in very early days, you need to try to avoid Dr. Google to self-diagnose problems you likely don't even have and stop over-reading into everything your body does or you'll just drive yourself over the edge.
