Hey ladies!

I am doing ok. Been sick with a cold which is making sleep difficult and I am EXHAUSTED. I am so anxious for my first tri screening with my MFM next week. I am trying not to stress or worry but last night I had a mini meltdown. Part exhaustion, part hormones, part my husband being a jerk.
I got my snoogle body pillow in the mail and can't wait to use it. It is getting more uncomfortable to lie on my stomach so figured it was time to order something.

QOTW: I am not super crafty. I think just prepping the nursery and house for the babies are the only projects I will be able to handle before the babies come!

10 weeks 1 day

Feeling: surprisingly pretty stinking well today. I might just finally work on a new project. My poor craft room needs some attention. I love paper crafts (cards, banners, and scrapbooking) but I haven't been up to crafting in the last couple months until today!

Hi girls! Had my first OB appointment yesterday. Got to see the little ones and everything is looking good. They moved my due date up two days but I am going to stick around hear if that is ok. It makes me 12 weeks tomorrow, yay! My doc said she is going to see me every two weeks and then every week starting at 28w. I think this is WAY over doing it. How much are you all going to the dr.? She is also going to use the portable sono every visit to see the babies heart beats. I am excited to be able to see them so much but really worried about all the exposure.
I am very crafty! I have my own craft/ quilting room. I am cross stitching Xmas stockings for them both so weather they are here my then or not they will have one. I have to make the bedding to match the other set I had made for my DS after I find out the sex. I will also make them both quilts, lovies, receiving blankets, burp cloths, and bibs. I am a SAHM with only one toddler so far so I have a lot of time on my hands. I am trying to get the most out of it now before it becomes a distant memory:)

Hi ladies!

I'm 9 weeks today, woo hoo! We had an u/s on Tues and got to see our little gummy bears, it was amazing! Babies are doing well, strong heartbeats at 179. It's amazing to see how much they've grown and changed in just 2 weeks! I have been more exhausted this week than I thought was possible, but also sleeping like crap. I've been ok over all, I won't pretend it's been a walk in the park (which leaves me short of breath quickly! lol) but I honestly can't complain much. I am looking at OBs since I think my last appt with the RE is July 29th and then they're handing me off. My TSH is high so I have to go see my GP tomorrow to discuss adjusting my meds.

QOTW: I'm ok, but not great. I'm starting to look at nursery ideas, but I don't think we'll stay in this house too long after the babies come (move by the time they're mobile) so I also don't want to put a crazy amount of work into it if we move in the next year. Other than that, we'll see what I find inspiration wise and what I think I can pull off!

This week has been okay, I'm freaking out a little because I just realized that I won't qualify for fmla with my job (I start teaching in a new district starting next month). So I'm hoping I'll still have a job after having baby.

Anyway, I'm not crafty, however I wish I was.

Hi ladies!

I'm doing good! I was able to stop progesterone Tuesday.. that was exciting. My first OB apt. is tomorrow & I really hope they do an u/s. I'm not starting to show yet, I just look a little thicker... great. My nausea comes and goes, but I really can't complain.

Question for you all... are you getting an NT scan? I'm going to ask tomorrow, but I didn't know if it was normal for MoMs to get them or not.

QOTW: I am not craft either. I'm a deal hunter, but that's about it. I don't have patience to make things & have them turn out pretty lol.

I am 10 weeks 3 days and I have no energy and feeling icky at times. I just did a quick clean up in my bedroom and it was like I ran a marathon or something. lol. My house is a big mess right now, but oh well.

QOTW: I do scrapbooking and paper crafts, but I haven't in a while. I know I want to do some altering projects for the babies nursery.

Hi ladies! I will be 11 weeks tomorrow. Really looking forward to getting out of this first trimester. I am still so sick and exhausted all day long.

QOTW: I am not crafty at all.

Getting the nursery ready will be a project I guess. It's go time once we determine the genders of the babies.

@MissEm15‌ I am getting one with my MFM in a couple of weeks, but I am also 35 and will be 36 at delivery . Not sure if you get them done just for having multiples.

@Nlavender13 I have had weekly appointments so far so I understand the over doing it thing, I graduate from my RE at 12 weeks and will probably not have another one for a month, but then I start every other week with my OB and regular MFM appointments and 1 US a month with the hospital.

The babies look like they took a major growth spurt this past week. At my 8 week US they had little sticks for arms and legs, this week they are really starting to look like real babies. DH was out of town this week so I brought my mom to the US and she wanted to record the whole thing and I told her no, and I am kicking myself for that now. Baby A was relaxing this week and Baby B was kicking so much, I told her to go ahead and record it and then B calmed down so there was only a little movement on the video.

QOTW: Are you crafty? What kind of crafts/projects do you plan to/are doing? I have always been quite crafty but pregnancy has taken that out of me, maybe 2nd tri will bring out my crafty side again.

@chickyclg‌ can I ask what a MFM is? Glad i am not the only one with so many appointments. It is so cool when they start moving around on the screen, makes it just that much more real.

@Nlavender13 a MFM is just a high risk OB, a lot of twin moms see them due to preterm labor and complications, I have some blood issues too that put me there.

11w 4d

Things have been going well here. I think my symptoms are starting to subside but then there are some days they come back with a vengeance. I was kinda surprised yesterday, I weighed myself for the first time in 3 weeks and I haven't gained a pound. I have not been watching my intake, actually I have been kind of a pig. Anyone else not gaining?

I am crafty, I knit and crocheted. I am currently knitting a blanket for one of the babies and I am hopeful I have time to get the other one done.

@SaraJtwo I was just bragging about my lack of weight gain (I have even lost some) to my in laws, my SIL chuckled and said not to worry the 2nd trimester would come all too soon. Then I had a worried look on my face.

I'm jealous! I've gained almost 3 lbs! I'm a small person, so its def. noticeable. But I look chubby not bumpy haha. ALthough I've been eating like crap to help my nausea.

@briandjuan I would elevate my feet and that always seemed to help, around 8 weeks is when the placentas snuggle in, so that may be part of the cause.

Not sure I can help much with the cramping. What is it from? Have you told your dr.? I do know that I sleep with a pillow between my legs at night and that helps a lot with all the pains in the morning and can no longer sleep on the stomach with out feeling sick. Hope it goes away soon for you, good luck!

@briandjuan‌ I've had mild cramping as well. My RE said it was normal and the uterus is doing a lot of growing between 8-12 weeks. It's hard to not be a little bit nervous with every cramp/twinge. I have an appt. on Tuesday and I will ask again.

@PeaceofKia‌ that really bites! Too bad your current district time couldn't transfer. I didn't realize you had to be employed for 12 months prior to qualifying for FMLA.

10w5d but babies are measuring one and two days ahead!

Things are going well here. The ultrasound today was much more real than the last ones. Today it was like they were actually humans. Seems silly, but I literally said it out loud today. "They look like humans!"
We had Harmony testing bloodwork drawn today and should have results in two weeks or less. The next appointment is in two weeks so I'm sure I'll get the results then. It's much more nerve wracking than I expected now that the blood has been drawn.....

I'm feeling much better, nausea wise, but the insomnia is killing me. I'm sleeping only 3-4 hours a night making naps mandatory. At least I'm not vomiting anymore.

Crafty? Me? No way. I'm horrid.

Hey all!

I'm doing pretty good! A few days over 8 weeks and I can't complain too much! I'm pretty tired lately, have some crazy heartburn, and insomnia. But, the symptoms let me know that all is okay! My first official appointment with my OB is August 13th. I also started a journal for the babies tonight.

I just got released from the hospital yesterday after going in Monday for jaundice and I had to drive two hours to get an ERCP done today. Turns out that I had gallstones blocking a duct and that was making my liver pretty angry. But, I was lucky enough to get an appointment with a GI specialist, who specializes in doing the procedure I had on pregnant women and got it all taken care of. So, I am feeling much better and I can rest easier now that I know that all is okay.

QOTW: I used to love to sew. So, I've been toying with the idea of getting my sewing machine set back up to work on some crafts. I got a few adorable patterns for a crib set, some clothes, and some cloth diapers that I am getting antsy about wanting to work on.

@kefttsc‌ i love seeing the picks. It is crazy how much they change in just a few weeks. Insomnia has just kicked in for me this week and just blows my mind how I can be soooo tired and still not sleep.
@PeanettyGoodness‌ glad to hear you are out of the hospital. How scary, undergoing any procedure when pregnant has to be so hard. I loved that I had made my own crib set and will be able to make a second one this time. The best part is being able to pick out exactly what you want it to look like. I need to look into making cloth diapers. What a great idea.

I'm still fairly new, so I don't know how to do the reply/mention thing. So, please bear with me.

Thanks, Nlavender13. It was terrifying. But, I was completely reassured that it was safe and the risks of something happening to the babies would've been greater if I had let my gallbladder continue to go on like that, not to mention the jaundice.

You made your own crib set? That's awesome! Yes, I agree with you about being able to pick out what you want it to look like. I already have ideas swarming in my head.
