    How many weeks? 37w 1d
How are you feeling? Good for the most part. My lower back and hips are a little achy today. I have developed the PUPPs rash, so I'm kind of itchy. It isn't too bad yet, so I'm hoping it doesn't get worse. I'm getting really excited and anxious for her to come.

    Upcoming appointments: 7/18

What's been going down this week? We got baby stuff ready. I washed clothes, DH got out the car seat, set up the pack and play. I think we are pretty much ready.

What's left on your list of to-dos? We washed the car seat, so I need to put that all back together, and set up our swing. Then I just want to do some cleaning, so that my house is somewhat in order for when my parents come to watch DS whenever I go into labor.

  • How many weeks are you: 37 weeks today!

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally):  Emotionally- I know according to the new guidelines, baby is still considered pre-term, but he could show up any day now and I would feel okay with it.  I'm feeling very ready to meet this little man!  Physically- Everything aches.  I had some sharp pains in my lower left hip area during BH contractions today, so that was new.

Upcoming appointments or milestones:  38 week appointment next week on Thursday

What's been going down this past week: Got the last of the necessities for baby at Target this week, and got some stuff done around the house.  We've been eating out a lot, and spending time with friends before life gets hectic.

GTKY: What's still on your list of things to get done before Baby arrives?  Order one more carseat base, and finish packing up my hospital bag.

I have most of what I need, as this is our third, but I need to get a new car seat and stroller. I have a luncheon this weekend and I think a bunch of the girls are pitching in for the stroller and car seat. Other than that, there us a bunch of nesting . Things I would like to do, but they may or may not get done!

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally): Emotionally, better than last week, but still somewhat nervous. Physically, I'm mostly uncomfortable at night. My hips and back really ache when I'm trying to sleep. During the day I just feel heavy, but aches and pains are pretty minimal!
Upcoming appointments or milestones: Friday. Regular OB appt. and Group B strep test.
What's been going down this past week: DH and I were away this weekend with some friends, and then on Sunday we rushed to his parents house for our second baby shower. It was really nice. Now my parents are here helping me get the house ready.
GTKY: What's still on your list of things to get done before Baby arrives? I'm embarrassed to say! So many things! I think we're putting the crib together today. Hoping to get the wall decal up today as well. I need to get the diaper service set up, and go shopping for more cloth diaper stuff, a nursing pillow, pick up my pump, pack the hospital bag(s). oof.

  • @bkroxfan003 - Oh man, sorry about the up-chucking.  Hopefully you can keep down some Sweet Action ice cream (although I'm sure you are over ice cream).
@caybeh - I can't bend down to clean like I need to.  It's a great excuse to hire some help!
    @esmith10 - I hope you are making a list!
@KaleMonster - Ouch sharp pains!  I felt that yesterday as well, but I just  needed to take a sh*t. ;)
@lingchow8655 - Sounds like you are prepared and in great shape to bring her home!
@luvbrettnizzy - With 2 other kids, you seem like you are getting a lot done already!
@MrsDeo - Sounds like you may have some time to finish up your list.  It's hard not to get into crazy "everything has to be done now" mode though.
@Ptarma - I've been sitting on a yoga ball for work.  I can't imagine sitting on a regular chair.  Seems so uncomfortable!
@Third&goal - Glad you are feeling better.  I started brewing a pitcher of raspberry leaf tea and putting it in the fridge.  It's a lot more appealing than hot tea in this warm weather.  I down it quick!

  • How many weeks are you: 34 and 3

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally): Emotionally we (especially my H!!) are dealing with the major stress and worry of being at the end of another pregnancy. Our loss was exactly a year ago, which is also stirring up memories. Every time I go off to an appointment and he sits at work waiting for an update, he says, "No more after this! I cannot go through this again!" I hope that feeling will fade eventually.

Upcoming appointments or milestones: inducing at 37 weeks! CAN'T WAIT! :D

What's been going down this past week: Finally learned how to make my MIL's famous spaghetti sauce, so I can stock up before baby

GTKY: What's still on your list of things to get done before Baby arrives? I have one last shopping trip for odds and ends planned for tomorrow.

  • Thanks for continuing to check in, despite how busy you are, @mdarmetko!

How many weeks are you: 36w5d
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally): emotionally, I'm good. Today is the one year anniversary of us finding out there was a potential problem with our last pregnancy. July 29th is the actual day we found out it was not viable and I had a d&c. I'll be happy to have that day over with! Physically, I am just HOT and large. I feel for everyone else who has had to suffer through the heat of the summer while this pregnant!
Upcoming appointments or milestones: next internal is next Tuesday.
What's been going down this past week: I had my first internal and GBS test today. And this past weekend was my birthday and a tiny low key sprinkle my friend and her mom threw for me. It was so very nice!
GTKY: What's still on your list of things to get done before Baby arrives? Nursery is done and everything is washed and put away. I need to finish packing my hospital bag and dig the car seat out of storage. I also have one or two more freezer meals I'd like to make before he comes.

    Weeks- 34

Feeling- physically not too bad. Normal aches and pains. Emotionally- getting very excited! RCS is exactly one month from today.

    Appointments- check up next week

Past week- well I was all set for Thursday to be my last day of work but my replacement resigned today! Are you kidding me??? She started last week??? I work for a non profit that advocates for children in foster care. Apparently she couldn't handle how sad it can be. So I'll now be working until the 31st.

GTKY- order breast pump, pack my bag, install car seat. Most of the small things are done.
  • How many weeks are you: 37w 5d

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally): Physically starting to feel run down - lots of pelvic pain :( Emotionally I'm ok, starting to now worry about the L&D part. I'm more worried about going in to labor, water breaking, etc.

Upcoming appointments or milestones: Reg OB appt on Thur. Should get my Strep B results this wk.

What's been going down this past week: Had my reg OB appt on Thur. Nothing going on down there (no dilation or effacement) but she's measuring perfectly so that's fine with me!

GTKY: What's still on your list of things to get done before Baby arrives? Last few things in the hospital bag, sterilize breast pump equipment, pick up bookshelf from PBK.

How many weeks are you: 36 Weeks
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally): Physically - Uncomfortable, pretty much all the time. Emotionally - starting to have dreams about baby's arrival, excited that I have less than 2 weeks until RCS.  Very ready to be done being pregnant and meet my little girl.
Upcoming appointments or milestones: Apt Thursday, then down to weekly Apts.
What's been going down this past week: Got a prenatal massage & pedicure yesterday and I was amazing.  Massage has seemed to help the swelling in my feet, so even though they still hurt they are not swelling as bad.  Especially at 3+ hours of chasing after preschoolers at our church's VBS this week.
GTKY: What's still on your list of things to get done before Baby arrives?  We are pretty much ready, yeah!  I have everything we need, mostly from DS, upstairs just a matter of actually putting it together and getting where it belongs.

  • @babypants11 - Happy belated Birthday! @Elbug - Good luck on the ECV. I hope it works! @ginny5683 - Glad to hear you are doing well. FX you get to go home soon! @kountingsheep - Sorry to hear about the painful contractions. Make sure to hydrate! @Lena76 - Well, that's very nice of you to agree to work 2 more weeks. @MamaTugboat - Don't worry, the cervical check really don't mean anything. They can't predict labor time at all, so you could very well start going into labor to morrow :)@mmsweeney1 - Hugs to you. You can make it the next 3 weeks! I'm stockin up the freezer too. I got a soup, some sauce, and a lasagna in there. @Russiandea12 - Wow, 2 weeks! So close!

  • @Elbug - I am with you! We haven't picked a name either! :)

How many weeks are you: 35 weeks (36 tomorrow)

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally): Physically, I have been doing pretty well other than the BH which have been giving me some fits. Emotionally, I am excited and nervous. My little girl and I had a talk the other night and she shared that she is ready for our family to change but she is really nervous too. I tried to ease her fears and told her we were all nervous but we are a family no matter what and nothing would ever change our love for her. I know she will love her brother something fierce, as she is already protective of him, but I pray my husband and I do a good job of making helping her adapt to the changes.

Upcoming appointments or milestones: Next week two NST's and baby dr appt. Then scheduled C-section on July 29th.

What's been going down this past week:  Last growth US and he weighs 6 lbs. They also said he has a full head of hair. HA! :)

GTKY: What's still on your list of things to get done before Baby arrives? Pick a name and just the last minute odds and ends. Plus this Sunday is my 12 year anniversary so I have to do a little planning for it.

  • @Elbug - My baby is still stubbornly head up too. It seems like yours is moving in the right direction. What tricks have you been trying, if you don't mind sharing. I am trying inversions and I am currently sitting here icing her little head. (feels cruel!) I so want her to flip and I only have 2 weeks!

I know what you mean about trying to prepare.  I was trying to tell DD about a baby's soft spot on the head last night and she kinda got confused.  Oh well.  I just pray she can accept the changes.

Exciting you have your CSection SO soon!
