Hello fellow expecting mamas,
We had our 20 week ultrasound this week at 20w3d. The tech said that my baby weighed 13 oz., but from what I've read in my two baby books it says babies usually only weigh about 10 oz. at this point. With the baby still so small, a 3 oz. difference seems like a lot to me. Does this mean anything, or indicate that I might be delivering a bigger baby? I'm not too concerned, mostly curious. I know that babies grow at very different rates. My due date has not changed at all; we are still looking at an EDD of 11.28.
Re: How much did your baby weigh at 20 Week U/S?
This. When I went in for my a/s I didn't get an exact weight but I was told about 12oz is the norm. Everyone is different as you've said. If my OB wasn't worried about it I personally would not be concerned. But you should call if it gives you some peace of mind.
I wouldn't worry at all. Every baby is different. They all have growth spurts at different times.
