I know it's normal for babies to sigh during sleep, especially when they transition to a different sleep stage. This little guy goes through periods where he will sigh/take a deep breath every two minutes or so for hours at night. Is this normal? I definitely don't remember that with DD. We have been battling a food intolerance with occult blood in his stool, but I can't imagine that's enough to make him suddenly anemic or something. He's done this weird sleep breathing for a day or two a couple of times, then it reappears a few weeks later... I'll ask the pedi but I have a feeling she won't know what I'm tailing about.
