...and the wait goes on...(liamadi1)

So, after bleeding yesterday and an inconclusive u/s with my RE I went in for another u/s this afternoon.  Another inconclusive u/s!!!  The doctor said he sees a gestational sac and perhaps a yolk sac, but also sees a blood clot that is pushing down on the sac.  I'm going back next Friday to see if there has been progress so he couldn't be sure either way.  I'm trying to stay positive and just keep living like everything is going to be fine.  The doctor said he couldn't say either way what was going on, but he said to stay positive and that made me feel good.  Thank you for the well wishes and I'm going to stick around for a little bit it looks like..we will see in about a week how things progress.

    I wish you the best of luck! Then only reason the U/S tech kept looking for baby is because they could hear the heartbeat! But he was a hard little shrimp to get a good look at!

    I'm going through something very similar.  Yesterday morning I had a pretty significant amount of bleeding and even some small clots.  Got into my doctor a few hours later for a scan.  Like you, we saw a gestational sac, yolk sac, and clot right near the implantation site (my doctor called it a subchorionic hemmorage).  The pregnancy looked good (5 weeks and 3 days yesterday), and at least the clot explains the bleeding. I have another scan next week to (hopefully) see the baby and heartbeat.  Sounds like you have every reason to be hopeful since the sacs are still there and you also have an explanation for the bleeding (not ideal to have a clot, obviously, but much better than bleeding for no apparent reason in my book).  Best of luck to you and I hope you get good news at your next scan!
