  Those interested, I created a league on espn.com called October 2014 babies. It is free to join. Our draft is set for Monday, July 28th at 7:00. I can change this i it's not the best time for the majority of members.

  I have only played in one other league. I was not very good and did not know what I was doing. DH was mad because I made it all the way to SB. I did kick his behind a few times.

  @sockgnome78  The snake draft is similar to the draft in real football. Each team is given a time limit to choose a player in each round. The person that chooses 1st in the 1st round will choose last in the second round. The order in which you choose snakes around.

  Since it is a free league, there is a cap on the number of people. I tried to up the number yesterday but couldn't without paying a fee. Maybe someone could start a second league for our board.

  My DH and I do fantasy football (and fantasy baseball) every year on the pay for CBS leagues - some years we win some money, some years not so much. We've been doing it now for almost a decade together and he's been doing it separately since he was in his 20s when he and his brother and friends used to do their own home grown league. I love both sports and am very competitive about it. This year we decided we may opt out of football because managing your team takes time and we just don't know that we'll have time, but haven't fully decided yet as we may need the distraction.
  
  This sounds like fun, and would be happy to offer up tips and advice, but not sure if I will find time to actively participate.
  
  KariAnnM 23 - Not sure how often you've done fantasy football, but just a tip, doing a draft as early as late July could lead to a lot of draft disasters. So much happens in the last month before the season starts (injuries, free agent signings, trades, junior RBs and WRs vying for starting positions) that the great team you draft could turn out to be a pile of poo by start of season on Sept 4. Rule of thumb- DH and I usually draft as close to start of season as possible - you lose some sleepers by doing it that way but have a better chance of drafting a good team. Don't want to tell you how to do things - but may want to consider pushing draft back to end of August. Just saying. Good luck whatever you do - seems you filled the league - so I won't be able to join, but again happy to be a resource to any and all.

  Thanks! Not sure I'm going to have time to do this and the date of the draft is a bit problematic for me as I have a long work day that day.  Again - drafting for fantasy football in July is a bit early anyway - so much changes over the month of August that half the team  you draft could not be worthwhile by the time you get to September. I'll sign up if I think I can make it.

  @pnwlover12 as far as I know to can set up an auto draft. But can not select players by name.

  So I just selected the players I wanted and put them into the auto draft queue - does anyone know if I need to click on the "Auto Pick" Box on the upper left hand of the screen?
