Opened this thread to AW myself, without being the only one to do so "> Seriously though, a lot of you have been talking about house projects, birthday parties, and art classes- all things I'd love to see the results of.
Here is the result of our family fig picking. I am by no means a good cook, so I'm pretty proud of what came of it:
Pork chops with fig balsamic sauce, rosemary/chive/mustard seed mashed potatoes, and corn:
Prosciutto, fig, goat cheese pizza, with basil and tomatoes from the garden, and salad:
Spaghetti with wine goat cheese sauce, walnuts, figs, capers, and spinach:
I guess I can AW that I've been answering BreastfeedingUSA posts on my lunch break and I feel really proud to help out some moms. I think I'm going to host some groups after we move and I'm psyched.

Now it's time for us to eat fig-free for a while.
Omg, all of this looks sooooooo good! Now I really want figs!
I've done a pretty good job of cooking out of our freezer/fridge in preparation for our move. The only things in our fridge are condiments, milk, grapes, and string cheese. The only frozen meats we have left are some corn dogs and a bag of orange chicken. Then there are a few random items and boxes of sides and crackers and bread crumbs and what not. The rest is gone! This is huge for me and probably the only thing that got us through our incredibly expensive week last week. The orange chicken is on the menu for tomorrow and then I quit until we are moved!
I've been hitting 10k+ steps on my fitbit for the last 5 days and doing 30 min of my elliptical every day (grandma speed haha). And tracking calories. I don't think I was supposed to gain 10 lb in first tri and I'm terrified of being so overly huge and uncomfortable again. Anyway, I feel great this week!
I didn't get angry with other drivers on the way to work this morning. This is HUGE. I've had the worst driving anger for the past few months and it needs to stop.

I signed up for a pole fitness class in an effort to stretch my boundaries (fitness and personality wise). The first class was fun and not nearly as complicated as I expected.

@melody921, I've always wanted to do this! A girl I used to work with took a class as part of a huge Bachelorette party they went to and said it was so much fun.

I stayed up way too late to get my deal at Kohls. Come to find out I didn't need to stay up until 12am (which didn't work anyway) so I ordered my Keurig this morning. I got the Keurig Mini for $45 shipped. Thank you Kohls cash, 30% discount and free shipping code!
That food looks great! Where do you live that you can pick figs? I've never heard of them growing near me.
We live in Augusta, GA, but I know they grow in California and TX too... I think anywhere that has a mediterranean-like climate?
I have 2 fig trees in my yard and live outside of DC. My Italian family has figs in NJ. Tropical climate not needed.

If you have a class near you, it's definitely fun!

That is what we did for my bachelorette party. It was so fun and man were my thighs killing me the next day. Amazing workout for your legs and thighs.
Work AW, I got a $2MM project approved that I was not expecting. We have no funds for projects but I was pretty proud of the presentation I put together and was hoping for it to be on the 2015 approved list but it was approved to go ahead and move forward now!

I have a friend who competes in fitness pole dancing competitions. She started taking one of these classes and loves it so much she kept it up. She won the last competition she was in. Her body is amazing, it's clearly a good work out!
@Pokedot I'm sorry it didn't work for you, but yay for the good deal anyway!
We've gotten out of the house 3 out of 4 days this week, and ate dinner as a family last night! I feel like maybe the last week of being really lazy jump started some good habits for us as a family.
Now to get back to cooking/meal planning...

I left the office before 5:30 two nights in a row. I am NOT drinking the grape Fanta on my desk that my co-worker gave me. We got our crap together in time to eat outside last night.
I was supposed to not go out to eat this month and join the gym instead, but I screwed that up today. So that is NOT on the list.
