Since I'm bored, this sounds like fun. A post about vacations!!

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year?

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget?

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go?

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so?

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment?

I wish... Lol.

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget?
We would tour Europe and the as much of the mediterranean as possible i think

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go?

Like PP said, nowhere, i want to see EVERYTHING!

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so?
Disneyland for sure! Gotta admit, momma is dying for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter lol.

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment?
Monterey California. That's where we got married, where DS was conceived. It's gorgeous, and so far, my favorite place in the world

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year?

We went to Colorado for a week with DH's parents and siblings and their ladies...it was wonderful, Colorado is beautiful!

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget?

We would do an all inclusive adults only trip to the Dominican Republic and then we'd do a family trip to some source of water...either a cabin near a nice lake or to the east coast and hit the ocean.

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go?

I always say Las Vegas...but I think I could stand to go there to see the sites, but we just wouldn't do much gambling.

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so?

I would like to take him to Disney, but MH has no desire to go there....so I think it would be a trip to Boston, to see a Red Sox game, take on some sites and visit the ocean!

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment?

It would be great to own a home at the Lake of the Ozarks, it's not a terrible driving distance for us. It would make for great long weekends! MH would want an apartment as close to Fenway Park as possible in Boston so we could go to games all the time!

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year? We did a weekend trip sans DD to Pittsburgh to see a game. We hope to go hiking this fall for a long weekend too.

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget? Next summer it would be somewhere tropical with lots of drinks or Europe.

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go? Las Vegas, Middle East, any dessert

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so? We'll go to the beach again this next summer so it should be fun to have an almost 1 year old and a 2.5 year old there.

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment? Beach or lake.

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year? We just got back from a long weekend camping with DS, my brother's family, and my sister and her boyfriend. It was really fun, but all three of us were in bed at 8:30 last night, and I don't think anyone moved until 5:45 this morning. I didn't even get up once to go to the bathroom! I usually go 2-3 times a night with this pregnancy.

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget? We'd like to do the trans-Siberian railway (in a luxury car) someday. Also, we have a fund set up for an African Safari once the kids are old enough to be left with relatives for an extended period of time.

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go? The middle east, and it's not so much for the unrest as it is the climate. The dryness and heat just look like a killer to me.

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so? We probably won't start doing big trips until they're closer to 10, but in the meantime, long weekends camping, cabins, and hotels with waterparks. Once they're a little older, Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Disney World.

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment? Our retirement plan is to buy and live on a boat in the Keys during the winter, then take it up the Mississippi or through Hudson Bay and the Great Lakes back to MN in the summer.

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year? We just got back from a mini-"vacation" housesitting for my parents who live on a lake. We are also going on vacation with our friends to Hilton Head Island, SC in September (they have a family member who owns a condo so we get a free place to stay! yay!) and hopefully going on another mini-vacation to either Vegas or the beach in October for my husband's 30th birthday (I swear we usually never travel this much!)

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget? Santorini, Greece! I've always wanted to go there. We had wanted to go for our honeymoon and then before we had kids but it's just sooo expensive and travel to that area hasn't always been safe in recent years. Really I'd love to go almost anywhere in Europe.

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go? Any place really cold. I am not a cold weather fan.

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so? So excited to take her to the beach! She looooves water and had a blast on my parents boat last week. Also, hopefully Disney at some point.

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment? Definitely somewhere warm, possibly the beach. Although we visited the Smokey Mountains recently and I had a blast. I love a good view and things to do.

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year? DISNEY!!!! we're booked for 9/28-10/3...we haven't been on vacation since i was pregnant (disney then too) we are super excited

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget? Hawaii, Maui to be specific...would love to go back

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go? nowhere really....well, i don't want to go anywhere super hot or dangerous

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so? Disney? lol i'm just beside myself ready to go already...also, would love to go with her to uruguay to meet my mil's family and to just go...i've never been and would like to get there

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year? We just got back from a week at the beach. That's our big vacation for this year. We were talking about a weekend trip to Lancaster, PA to go to Dutch Wonderland in September but we haven't booked it yet.

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget? Ireland. We were torn between Ireland and Jamaica for our honeymoon and we settled on Jamaica with the idea that we would go to Ireland for our one year anniversary but.. then I got pregnant so we had a baby for our anniversary instead of a trip to Ireland!

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go? The Middle East. Like PP said, it's more for the dry climate than anything else.

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so? I would love to take DS to Disney when he gets a little older.

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment? I would love a beach house. My parents live a few miles inland from the beach so we always have a place to stay when we want to go down there but I would love a place to call our own.

@AshleyDehaven‌ we took R to Monterey in March. We were kinda celebrating dh bday and our anniversary. Dh had never been. It is always so calming there.

@chilibeansm0m - We got the opportunity to live there for a year and half while my H was training at the Presidio. Hands down the best year and a half of my life. I miss it so much.

Where did you/are you planning to vacation this year? DD and I are going with my mom to North Carolina in September to see my grandparents. It will be DD's first time on a plane. DH and I are also taking an anniversary trip somewhere (we haven't decided yet but ar ethinking DC or Boston, something like that) in october. It will be our first vacation away from DD so that freaks me out already but I am also excited.

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget? europe! The mediterranean, france, italy, ireland, etc! I dream...

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go? hmmmm... anywhere there is major conflict, vegas (did it once and that was enough)... I really don't care much about hawaii or anywhere really touristy unless it is historical. Nowhere freezing since I already live in Wisconsin. Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so? Ohmygosh, everywhere! camping, Disney (harry Potter land, hello!!), to see the ocean, road trips, etc. If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment? I don't want a vacation home really. if I had the money for a second home I would rather go different places than stay in one.

Where would you go if you had another $10,000 in your vacation budget? Hanoi & Luang Prabang

Where do you have absolutely no desire to go? A short list but there are a few dangerous countries I have no desire to visit

Where are you excited to take your little in the next 5 years or so? South America, moving to Colombia next! I want to go to Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil

If you could own a vacation home, where would it be? If not a specific place, what type of environment? Florida! We move all over the place so I'd like a place close to our families

I love Colorado, I think it's my favorite state so maybe I take it back and I'd love a house in Denver. Where in CO did you go?

Haha, it's just so much easier/less expensive to travel from here!

@this decaf life‌ Calgary - Vancouver - Hong Kong - Hanoi - Luang Prabang 28 hrs total travel time and layovers
