Hello, I've decided to end my lurking and introduce myself. Hello lovely ladies. I'm 35 and DH is 36. DS is 19 months. I got pregnant with DS on first cycle. However, 4 years earlier when I was 29 we TTCed for a year with no luck then took a break for multiple reasons....then when we decided to try again 4 years later pregnant first cycle. To us DS was such a gift from God bc we had had 4 very hard years (unrelated family, job drama). For those using opks, you might be interested that for DS, I took an opk that was positive a full 3 days after we DTD....then we had no sex for like 2 weeks. So, our case proved that sperm can live multiple days before fertilization (assuming the opk was accurate).... So I don't know if this time it will be hard or easy. I'm going on my third month of TTC #2...using opks but I have long and irregular cycles. Would rather not chart ( bc I can obsess!) but may have to... AF came back in January after nursing for a year... So that's my story! Really really want a #2 if possible though so incredibly grateful just to have DS. Wouldn't mind a #3 either....but one thing at a time.

BFP 7/26/14, Missed M/C at 8 weeks, discovered at 10 wks, 6 days, D&C 9/22/14, Dx: Partial molar pregnancy

    I am also TFAS. DS is almost 18 months. I hope that you get a quick BFP as you did with your DS!

    welcome and best wishes. We're TTC #3 but are benched for a couple of months.

    Hope your stay here is short and sweet, the ladies here are great.

    Welcome and best wishes!  ps your opk sounds exactly right, they are + between 12 and 36 hours PRIOR to ovulation.

    December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
