That our SO's could experience our pregnancy symptoms even just for a day... I just text mine saying I was going to take a nap because the exhaustion and nausea I'm feeling is overwhelming...and he says...what happened to the gym?
I swear they think we're faking it half the time to get out of doing shit.
I'm taking a nap damn it!!!

Yesterday I could barely eat a thing...and for some reason I can't throw up even if I really want to. For hours last night husband kept saying he was starving to death and I told him I wasn't hungry and went to bed. This morning he was like "I ate a piece of bread...I thought I was hungry, but I wasn't at all and it made my stomach upset, so I went to bed" I laughed so hard...I said it's too early for sympathy symptoms!

This is our second time around, but even still my DH doesn't seem to understand. He wants sex all the time, just like all men do. But plays the guilt trip with me when I tell him no. I'm queasy and it just doesn't feel good right now. Get over it.

Love this post! I work a full time job & I've been so tired & so exhausted! I get home from work & tell my husband that I'm tired & he says 'tired from what?' REALLY?!?!?! & he thinks I'm making it up! So I put him on the spot when hanging out with a friend who has 3 children. She set him straight & let him know that the exhaustion & fatigue can kick in before you even know your preggo!

My H does the same thing! "How can you have symptoms so soon?? You're not very pregnant" I told him to read up on pregnancy and what to expect and to shut his mouth.

YES my husband seems to think I'm "not pregnant enough" to be having symptoms.... wtf. He said he thought maybe some of them were in my mind. They are real, and so will be the knee to his groin next time he says something like that.

My boyfriend competes with my symptoms. I have literally been exhausted this whole week, and he gets two or three more hours of sleep every night. I will literally scream and throat punch him if I tell him I'm tired, and he has the nerve to tell me how much more exhausted he is than me!

I say this every day to him! He thinks it's too early for me to be feeling this sick and tells me I should go take a walk for some fresh air. I struggle every day, but still manage to get dinner on the table and a packed lunch for his work the next day. All I want in return is a bit of sympathy.....and maybe have him bring me some ice cream after work

My husband hasn't done any of this. He just asks what I want to eat and gets it for me, he lets me sleep when I want to, he puts up with my 'I feel like shit' texts all day, he walked the dogs with me today when I was too tired to do my normal Wednesday two hours at the gym... he's pretty much been really cool about everything, and it's been nice.
