Did you know most insurance companies now pay for breast pumps? As a FTM I had no idea! I just called my insurance and ordered an Ameda Double Electric Pump for FREE along with 150 bags every 90 days! They said I'll have it within 14 days. AND I can have a new one every year if I choose to bf longer! I am so excited over this haha. Thought I'd pass this along in case there were others that didn't know like me! Little things excite me
Re: Free Pump!
My ins has a partnership with target. I can grab any pump off the shelf and bring it to the pharmacy with my ins card.
Eta- I do also need a prescription from my dr
It says there are a few grandfathered plans but in general must cover a breast pump either rented or new.
Good to know. Mine will only cover with a prescription which I easy to get. Any way around it? Bummer yours isn't covered!

Very important to check with your ins. I think most plans need to have coverage for some type of pump. My previous ins only covered a manual pump.
