Nub picture!!

Hi ladies I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant with our second baby at 20 weeks we could not see the gender so I'm now hoping that some of you can see a nub on my 12 weeks scans and have a guess at baby's sex!!! Id be so happy to know but will have to wait till baby is here now so any help on skull or nub theory is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks ladies xx

What she means by "not end well" is that these types of questions...people don't usually respond well to them... None of us are professional ultrasound techs (and if we were we might need multiple angles). If your tech couldn't tell it is highly unlikely that anyone here can tell anything for certain. Be happy that it is a healthy human...

There was no need to post the pic twice. Opinions are not influenced by the number of times the pic is shared. My opinion? Ask your doctor or the ultrasound tech. If it's that important to you, seek out one of the ultrasound vendors that are not affiliated with a medical practice and pay for an additional scan to learn the sex. Otherwise, you're team green. And please stop asking strangers on the internet to provide insights into the sex of your baby.

I don't think I can see your history because I'm on mobile but I'm gonna assume that you haven't been around very long. These nub posts did not go over well at 12 weeks and certainly will not go over well now. Prepare yourself for a lot of sarcasm, gifs and the smell of fresh hot popcorn.

Well I have to say this has to be the most unfriendly chat board I've ever visited after several years of trying to conceive and having help off of people on these chat sites the last thing I expected was this response! I do not care what he or she is I care that it is healthy. At 20 weeks my baby had it's legs closed the scan technician suggested looking at different theories as a 'fun' ways in guessing who is joining our family!! Thanks for all you opinions you've definitely made me feel unwelcome judged and fun is the last word I'd use!

Well I have to say that I am quite offended by your response... you are the one that posted a random question to a bunch of strangers that no one could possibly answer. Fun guessing games should be left to your friends and family. Perhaps you should have started with an introduction and lurked around the boards reading a little, getting to know the women here and letting us get to know you. Anyone can guess the baby's sex but what difference will that make? 50/50 chance of a boy or a girl.

You got a very tame response to your question. People actually just told you that they couldn't give you an answer and some made funny jokes. Relax. And try taking your "fun games" where they are appreciated. How did you figure we'd like them here? Oh, and the whole story about how it took you a long time to conceive has absolutely nothing to do with this post.

I feel bad because I don't think anyone explained this to OP :0/, so HEY OP! Read below. I promise I won't be mean :0)

There are a couple of reasons why you got this response. 1 is that we don't know who you are. Usually people post an intro, or start commenting on other peoples posts, before they ask a question themselves.

2 is that we just make fun of posts that we literally can't answer, and should/could only be answered by your doc. We tend to stick with sharing experiences. Unfortunately, no one can answer your question. We just had such a huge influx of posts like this in the beginning, it got funny, and then it got old.

No one wants to hurt your feelings, I promise. Read the post on the main page that says "read this first!!" and you will find out how to avoid responses like this.

Really and truly, we would love to get to know you! So don't leave. I myself have said a few things on this board that I have gotten a lot of flame for!!! Just laugh, say "my bad ladies!" and come join the fun!!!!!
