Work Hair Help

So I'm pretty useless when it comes to doing my own hair, it's usually down, in a pony, or in a bun.  For work I have to have it pulled back and I feel like I look sloppy with just a ponytail.  My hair is just below my boobs when it's down, so I feel like it's go a lot of potential, but I have no idea where to start when it comes to styling it.  Any ideas?  I need something somewhat easy since I usually only have 45min-ish to shower, blow-dry and do something with it before the wee one wakes up.  

Thanks ladies.  If you don't have ideas for me, feel free to post pictures of cute animals :)

    What kind of hair do you have? Is it curly or straight? Does it have to be all up or does half up work?

    Do you have bangs? Braid/pin them back to one side or each side.

    French braid? Fish tail braid? Sock bun?
