anatomy scan... "could not see stomach"

Since I am moving to another state in 2 weeks, my current OB went ahead and did an anatomy scan at 17w2d. (My 10 week Panorama test came back "low risk" for all conditions tested.) My OB did the scan himself and said "everything looks good except I couldn't see the stomach at this time so make sure your new OB gets a look at your next appointment."           I was like "excuse me, what? No stomach??"

He said not to worry b/c this can happen if the stomach is empty. He then offered to re-scan me again in a week and I, of course, agreed.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

    You got your anatomy scan a bit early. I.imagine in a few weeks everything will be better visible. Sending T&Ps everything is ok.

    I have a really similar situation my hubby got orders and we are moving on the first so the doc ordered an a/a early-- just had it today, we saw the stomach but there were a few things they couldn't see on the face but she told me not to worry at all it's just literally because it's early and I'm scheduled to go back in 4 weeks to make sure everything is growing and developing properly! Don't worry just schedule a follow up!! :)
