**** Weekly IVF Check-in ****

This weekly check-in is for 3T regulars to fill us in on their IVF cycle.
If you'd like to join please provide the following...

1. Where are you in the IVF process (prepping, stimming, ER/ET date, etc)
2. What cycle? 
3. Test/beta day?

    I'm just coasting along on bcp and lupron now.  I have 2 more days of bcp and I should start estrogen replacement monday after my monitoring appt.

    QOTW:  Cheese balls ....... I have a huge weakness for them and have eaten entirely to many this past week.  I made the mistake in buying the huge tub of them for vacations.  It's hard they just melt in your mouth.

    @Buttmonkey34‌ My FET is prob the second week of august, seems so far away because my ER was 6-12.

    Good luck with IVF #1. That is a fast track! It's very overwhelming at first but it makes more sense when you start.

    Waiting to start on my next cycle

    Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

    We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    I was supposed to start Lupron last night...but I forgot.  So I'm about to head home for lunch to take it.  Still a month away from ET, so I'm not too worried I f-ed anything up.

    QOTD: I agree that cheese balls are amazing and melt in your mouth!  I think my favorite are cheetos puffs for the same reason.  When we go camping, I always get a bag of puffs and a package of chips ahoy.  I've also had a bad craving for donuts...maybe b/c I'm trying to lose weight between cycles right now and I'm getting sugar cravings BAD!


    Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
    IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
    IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
    Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545  -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
    Camila Josephine arrived 4/30 :)

    @CaterinaC‌ that sounds cool. I wish my RE gave a class like that. My husband pulled out his embryology books from medical school because I'm one of the people that likes to know as much as I can. I'd love to see what their lab looks like. I only saw a small metal door where they handed off the eggs right before they knocked me out.

    Day 12 of stims. With any luck, it will be the last one. Yesterday the RE measured 12 follies with most being 14-15 mm. He guesstimated that ER will be Friday. We go back tomorrow morning for another check and I will know for sure tomorrow afternoon if I get to trigger tomorrow night.

    I'm ready. I was feeling pretty darn good up until today. It hurts when I do just about anything and I can't seem to get comfy while sitting. I'm working an extended day today and can't wait to get home and change. Somehow I thought it would be ok to wear tights today...ugh. The Ganirelix needles are thick and I have a skin reaction to them. It doesn't last long, thankfully. Friday seems so far away...

    QOTW: Cake, cookies, brownies...if it is sweet and soft I will most likely eat it!

    We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm.  8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy.  We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET.  I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013. 

    11/14/14 -  Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good. 

    12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2

    12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)

    1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

    @StacyLH24‌ be sure to come update when you find out about when your ER is, I'm keeping my FX for you. Those ganarelix needles are the devil! I hated them they hurt like hell going in and left a sore spot on me too. Hopefully you get to go home soon and lay flat on your back. Towards the end that was the only position I was comfortable in.

    There were 15 measured this morning. While some were about where they needed to be, apparently not enough to trigger. We go back tomorrow for u/s only. I'm assuming that I will get to trigger tomorrow night and that ER will be on Saturday. I will update tomorrow when I know for sure.

    Hey ladies! I totally missed check in yesterday, whoops! :P

    I'm on day 3 of stims and have my first monitoring appt Friday. I took my lupron as usual this morning (still on 5 units) and the injection site started to itch after and I had a big rash after that lasted about 30 min. I thought that was pretty random since I've been on it for 11 days.

    QOTW- potato chips and twix bars. Neither last long in my house haha

    My ER will be Saturday! I think it is finally hitting me that we are really doing this.
