Today is the day that I would have given birth to my first baby. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks. It's crazy how hard it can hit you all over again, after months of barely thinking about it. Life distracts us, but the pain never truly subsides.

It is such a beautiful day outside today. A cold front has swept through our area, so I have spent much of the day outdoors to reflect on my baby's life. Today, I am 12 weeks pregnant with my rainbow. I am trying to remain hopeful that everything will work out this time. But, any spare T&Ps would be very much appreciated.

My thoughts go out to all of you who have also experienced this terribly sad day. <3

    That is such a painful milestone. Lots of t & p's for you. It is very hard to miss what feels like what should have been, even while looking forward to what will be. Take gentle care of yourself today.
