I'm sorry anyone needs this board.
My DH was diagnosed with severe MFI in 2009 and told the only way to have biological children is via IVF with ICSI. After much resistance and a long recovery from a nearly fatal auto accident, we were successful on our first IVF. Two embryos implanted but one stopped growing at 8 weeks. Our daughter was born early at 31 weeks but after a very rocky start is now a very happy, healthy and thriving 2 year old.
We have not used BC since her birth. I also have had 2 unsuccessful FETs, one in December, the other in February. I have no more frosties and am planning to start a fresh IVF cycle in August with ET sometime in September.
I used to post regularly on the SAIF board but it is more and more difficult as just about all the regulars have succeeded in TTC 2+, many naturally after IVF. Of course I'm happy for them but it just reinforces my feelings of being left behind while everyone else has been promoted.
