location of humidifier

Where do you keep your humidifier in DC's room?  Is it right next to the crib?  DS's room is only about 10x10ft, so maybe it doesn't matter exactly where it is located.

    ER dr and pedi said 5 feet away from crib...otherwise, it can get damp and make it worse

    Across the room.  It isn't very big...maybe 9-10 feet away.

    Ok, great.  I was thinking about putting it across the room, but I was afraid that it wasn't going to be effective.  It's been pretty dry here, so I thought I would set it up for him before tomorrow night.

    Ours is across the room on her dresser.  We do have to half close the door to keep the moisture in the room instead of in the hallway.  It works wonders on her dry skin and stuffy nose.
