Discharge

I spoke to my dr about it just wondering if anyone is having a similar experience. I am 23 weeks and today I had a gush of clear liquid with the usual discharge. No cramping not feeling different otherwise. Dr wanted me to come in just to be safe however I am out of town and cannot come in. I was told to monitor and if it happens again I would have to find a hospital/dr where I am to get checked out. Happened early this morning hasnt occurred again. I know there is an increase of discharge at this stage. Are any of you ladies experiencing clear watery discharge? Mine did not have a sweet smell to it like they say amiotic fluid does. Paranoia about being out of town was already a bit high now it has just increased. Any similar stories if you have and could share would be much appreciated! Thanks ladies!

Definitely an increase and sometimes mine is clear/watery too. I think I know what you mean by a 'gush' - I have had this happen too, but if it could be measured it probably is no where near as much as it feels. I never really thought about it but if your worried et it checked for peace if mind!

It was def a different sensation than peeing. By gush it was just very sudden and I was wet. It was not enough to soak through a panty liner. I have felt him move quite a bit today. I have locations figured out of where to go if need be. If it happens again I am def going.

Just is not fun being several hours away from home when something new occurs. Makes it even a bit more alarming! I appreciate you ladies responding!
  • This happened to me, all was well!

  • Happens to me daily. It is clearish and watery compared to other discharge. It's not a lot, just the "normal" amount I have had in the past near my periods and such.

Yup, happens to me too.  Didn't even realize it was something I should possibly be worried about.  I find it mostly happens in the morning when I first wake up. It's not a lot, but it's definitely not pee and doesn't quite look like discharge.
  • Definitely happens to me! I have to change my underwear often! I think it's totally normal. :)
  • Definitely happens to me too!

Same here... I have been wearing liners since 12 weeks due to the increased amount of discharge. I think it is normal.  It is never a ton, but it does come in a rush sometimes.

Thank you everyone! My dr is cautious with me bc I have had several losses I know each pregnancy is different but it makes me feel better knowing you ladies have experienced something similar. Especially since I am away from home this week!

Yup, I've had that.  I'm rocking some extra long liners lately!  It almost feels like when you have your period and you can feel blood coming out, if that makes sense.  And I've noticed it's more if I'm better hydrated.
