TTGP IF WEEKLY CHECK IN

This check in is meant for anyone on TTGP who has hit the 1 year mark of TTC (6 months if you’re over 35), has an infertility diagnosis, or are going through IF testing/treatment. It is meant to be a place for people to share and ask any questions who might not participate on 3T or IF who would like the company of others going through the same experiences.

If you would like to participate, please send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE with your info and I will add you on, and please feel free to post your intro. This will be posted every Monday. If you have any suggestions or would like something added, please feel free to post.

@SnakeFisherBub‌ Good luck with your procedure.

I started my lupron sat to prepare for FET. So far no real bad side effects, except I'm moody but AF should come at the end of the week, I'm always moody close to AF. My muscles are hurting more than usual. I've had to up my baclofen so I'm struggling to stay awake. Not sure if it's because of the lupron or I just wore my ass out on vacation last week.

Hello ladies, I'm currently on month 18, cycle 7, cd49.. and today I take my last provera pill so hopefully I'll be back in business soon.

I knew this cycle was going to be crap from the beginning. My lining was way too thick, and sure enough I didn't ovulate or anything.. so I'm kind of back to where I started.

I have lost 34lbs so I was hoping my body would keep having decent cycles. I guess we will see how cycle 8 goes

I'm going to try to be optimistic!

If my children are happy and provided for.

Hello! I'm new to this thread but jumping in. I've been around the board for a bit and crossed the one year mark a month or so ago.

I'm on cycle 14. No known issues and no BFPs along the way. I just scheduled my RE consult for 7/31 and am looking forward to maybe getting some answers, or at least more data to think about.

QOTW: well of course the obvious, but I'd also like to know where my career will take me and if I'll be happy with that.

@norsern I'm glad to hear that you responded well to the Letrozole. I hope your P4 test goes well on Friday.

@Pintobean39 Yay for getting started with your FET! I hope the Lupron side effects stay far away from you!

@Diordra It sounds like you had a great consult! Good luck with your glucose test this weekend. Bring some juice to chug afterwards.

@NotElsie I'm sorry your body didn't cooperate this cycle. Hopefully the Provera gets things moving soon & you can move past this. Hugs!

I went for my monitoring this morning. I've been very uncomfortable the last couple of days, I'm very aware of my ovaries. I have 5 follicles on righty & 2 on lefty. The lead follicle is a 17, then there is one close to 13, a couple of 12s, an 11, a 10 & a 6. I'm going back tomorrow for another scan & more blood work to see if we're ready for IUI, I'm guessing we'll be doing that on Wednesday if things look good.

QOTW: I'd just want to know if my loved ones were happy & healthy.

H and I have been TTC for a year now. We are on our 11th cycle.

We just started testing and do not have a DX.

I did my HSG on the 2nd, my tubes are clear! This was a huge surprise to my RE and myself. I have a ton of internal and extensive eternal scarring from a ruptured appendix. My RE initially thought that was likely the problem after reviewing my medical record. I am doing CD3 bloodwork next cycle and H is doing his SA around that time too. He isn't down for period sex so it will be easy for him to go the few days abstaining.

BabyCowbell Good luck at your appointment! I dont know if others had a similar experience, but for me the worst part was waiting in the waiting room. I wished I had someone on call to text me while I was waiting. Maybe I am just a baby, but the waiting was the hardest part!

NotElsie Congrats on the weight loss! FX for cycle 8

Diordra FX for your results and testing going forward! I went in for my initial appointment mid cycle too and need to do my CD 3 blood work this next cycle. I am having H do his SA then too. It is going to be an expensive week!

SnakeFisherBub good luck in the waiting period before your laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and good luck with the procedure itself!

I started typing this yesterday and got interrupted. I left off at “Wow! @Butt.” Good thing no one came across my laptop. They would have thought I was crazy. ;-)

I'm 4dpiui today. I can't remember exactly what I shared at the last check-in. At my first monitoring appointment I had about 4 follicles in the 9-11mm range, and I was hoping to have 2-3 mature follicles at trigger. Unfortunately, I only ended up having one mature follicle, despite being on injects. I was pretty disappointed about that, but it is what it is. I *did* ovulate 8 days faster than my fastest Clomid cycle, so that's a positive. I'm starting to debate when I want to move onto IVF, which seems crazy to even think about.

@DarcyHermione - big hugs lady. First, I wouldn't be too turned off your RE for talking about cycling before the HSG as long as he was happy to do it asap. My RE also said we could do a few Femara cycles first, but I insisted and it was no problem, so I felt comfortable continuing with them (I wouldn't if they fought me on it though).

I'm sorry this is so hard on your DH. I agree with Meat, see if your clinic has any support groups or anything they can recommend, I would also check out the Resolve website. I think they have support group options as well. I personally found a therapist when I couldn't find any of those options, not sure if that's an option, but doesn't hurt to mention it. Sending lots of hugs to you both, this is a tough journey. (((hugs)))

Hugs @DarcyHermione.

Definitely talk to them (and the doctor who is ordering the HSG) about coding it as diagnostic and related to the pelvic pain. I actually did the HSG before we were really considering fertility treatments because my RE was using it to help us decide whether or not to do the lap surgery. It was coded as diagnostic/gynecological and pretty much fully covered. I think it would have cost me a little more if I had it done at the hospital, but still much much less than if it was coded as an infertility treatment. Your doctor should definitely be able to take care of this considering you have some possible endo symptoms.

@‌darcyhermoine I'm sorry your husband is having a hard time. It really is hard for them too. I hope you can get your HSG billed as something other than IF.
