I have one that I can remember! And I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority...
I'm irrationally nervous about posting pics of my kids on here. I post them on FB/IG just fine, probably because I know everyone who gets to see them. But open forums scare me.
I realize this is silly, what are people gonna do with my baby pictures? Nothing! Lol

I've heard a couple stories of people having their kids pictures stolen by people who claim the kids are theirs. I will never blame you for being cautious. People on the Internet are weird.

I hate the "how much weight has your baby gained" thread even more than the "how much weight have you gained during your pregnancy" threads. It feels like a contest. (Admittedly because my guy is a slow gainer I'm sure)

I just really don't care how much your baby has gained and I didn't care how much weight you gained during your pregnancy. I don't even open those threads.

I responded to give a little hope from one slow gainer to others. only now I have a bigger issue because some people were posting how much their LO grew in length and B is nowhere near grown that much so I think it did more harm than good reading that thread and now I think I stunted his growth

I hadn't thought of it that way. I didn't really get the point of it, TBH, but I'm so tired of hearing how my babies are so small (or too small, depending on the person and how much they want to get slapped that day) that I'm probably overly excited for any opportunity to AW the fact that they are growing at all.

Ditto. Admittedly I am not sure how much DS #2 weighs but it seems like he is on the slow gain track like his brother. Everytime someone says how small he is I feel the need to tell them how early he was since I feel like society loves big cubby babies. I am so nervous for tomorrow's appointment 2 month appt to see where he actually is at.

That thread has given me so much anxiety about DD's minimal weight gain. I can't read it anymore because it just makes me think something is wrong with her.
@ElTrain5 Sorry that thread rubs you the wrong way from my perspective I just can't get over how well Max is doing and not just because of weight gain, considering his early arrival, so I put his stats in there.
@katekat8721 I am super guilty of mass pics of Max and hope it doesn't come back to bite me! We'd (the regulars) would love to see your girls but understand your hesitancy!

No worries LB it's just my own insecurities coming through.
I love all the baby pics but I can't complain if someone doesn't share considering I refuse to post any on here. I wish I felt comfortable, but I don't.
Eta: I'd be willing to post if I put stickers over their faces like I did with my bump pics, but that sort of defeats the purpose. And I'm too lazy for that.
I'm more nervous about posting pictures to FB than here. I also am not a fan of naked baby pictures on the internet (anywhere). There are way too many sickos out there, including people with baby fetishes.
I hear that too. My BIL keeps uploading pictures of our babies to FB and it makes me nuts. Of course, he also announced their birth on FB before we did.

That sucks - I would not be ok with that either. Have you tried talking to him?
He took then down and now won't talk to us. I'm not burnt up over that though.
I hate baby clothes with sayings on them. Like "mommy's new man" a little creepy don't you think. I spent a bunch of time picking off patches and sewing animal silhouettes over stupid things on both kid's clothing. I would much rather just have a cute print or pattern than making my kid a billboard for how much he is loved.
Hate those, but super hate any if the close that sexualize kids (hope that's not an actual UO). "Stud muffin," "Ladies' Man," etc. Hate those.
My UO is that I don't really care what's on my baby's clothes. Odds are she won't be wearing it long and I'll end up having to cut it off of her anyway...

I enjoy the words on onesies, DEPENDING on what it says. I also love cartoon animals (everything Carter's lol).
I dislike dressing the boys in something that doesn't coordinate. Rick just throws whatever on them, but i like to make sure they match or coordinate in some way. I only get to do that for so long before they pick what they want to wear! Lol

DH took H the other morning while I slept and later told me the six or seven outfit choices that he went through before settling on what DS was wearing (a onsie with little shorts in sailor fashion that said "Captain of Mommys Heart"). The reasons for the changes included difficulty in putting on/taking off, colors that didn't match, and outfits that didn't coordinate with the temperature. Cutest fucking thing ever.
I have a love/hate relationship with Carter's clothes. About 80% of my kids' clothes are Carter's because they are affordable and that is what everyone gives you. But they are so not my style and I think they are so boring and generic. But some of them are still totally cute and they are easy so that is what we go with .
I'm a sucker for Carter's clothes. And DD has a ton of Disney (Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo mostly) clothes. But I'm a Disney nerd so it makes sense. I also don't mind the clothes with slogans on them. How long are they really going to wear them anyway?
However there are some that are a little odd and I wouldn't put on my kid. But there are adult clothes I find odd and wouldn't put on myself either.
I absolutely HATE Honest Co. diapers. they are the worst diapers I have ever used and I have pretty much tried them all. plus they are ridiculously overpriced. I don't understand why everyone loves them so much- they suck.
eta I hate their bath products too. the orange vanilla scent is nasty.
My other UO about clothing...I dislike clothing with licensed characters on them. I refuse to buy them for my kids the most part. Including shoes. My kids have only owned a handful of clothing with LC ever and almost all of them were bought for us. I think I bought a Hannah Montana shirt once for one of my girls. Oh, I forgot about Hello Kitty...she's the only LC that is okay. We have had lots of HK shirts. Otherwise we stick with prints, horses and unicorns, and geeky shirts. We get a lot of our favorites at Kohl's.
I was thinking this exact thing. I was looking at pictures someone put on FB of their kid wearing LC nightgown on their LC bedding. It all just looks so... Cheesy.
My personal UO? Can't stand those headbands on baby girls that look like elastic garter belts. My dd got one from the friend mentioned above, coincidentally. Headband has since been "lost." 1. My daughter doesn't have any hair to hold back with a headband 2. I don't feel the need to identify her gender with lacy garter belts wrapped around her head.

I hate that they keep giving shit to Honest Toddler on Facebook.

I like my honest diapers. I was just thinking about how well they've held my daughter's liquidy poop in with no leaks... Yet. I like their cleaning products, too.

I never understood why people lurk on other BMBs. I get lurking the generic boards but I never understood going to a BMB if it wasn't your BMB.
