Sick ugh

The past two days I've had a sore throat, drainage and just feel like crap. Anyone else? What're you doing to feel better?

    Do you have allergies (regular or seasonal)? Mine are starting to kick in and the OB gave me a list of approved OTC allergy meds.

    Yep. Had strep last week (on Penicillin for that) and now a head cold this week. For the cold I'm taking Mucinex and Tylenol, not that they do much. :( Feel better soon!

    BFP #4 - 10/4/11 - DD2 born 6/2/12 @38w1d, 8lbs 11oz & 21in.
    Same med protocol as last time, but heparin continued until delivery.
    BFP #5 - 3/30/14, EDC 12/10/14!!
    Beta #1-76 (12dpo), Beta #2-238 (14dpo)

    Boo really hope it's not strep. Have been trying to tough it out but barely able to get any work done during the day. As for allergies, I've never had them in the past.

    Me too! Allergies are common when pregnant is what my dr told me. But I think I've got a cold. I haven't tried any meds yet, choosing not too. But I've tried a few home remedies and those have helped a lot. Hot decafe teas with honey, warm water and salt gargle, cough drops, tons of water and sleep. It's day 3 of my cold and I've been feeling better thankfully. I hope this helps.

    I can't think of a whole lot worse than pregnant and sick in the summer. I have a tummy bug but it seems to be a two day thing and I'm in the ac. I'd rather have what I do than a cold/sore throat for longer! Rest up! Hope ya feel better ASAP

    I had a cold for my wedding almost a month ago. It was horrible. I feel your pain.

    I have had a horrible head cold for about a week. Doing tons of hot tea (nice to work at teavana in this instance....) and benadryl, however it's spelled, helped with the runny nose and everything else :). Almost done recovering now :) yay.

    Ugh I had a stomach bug yesterday. I couldn't keep any liquids down all day. And food? Forget about it. No appetite whatsoever. I pretty much slept all day in between running to the bathroom.
