Amnisure Test fail

Still in hospital . Fluids are high but amnisure test is failing so doctor maybe things I have a very high leak that will reseal itself. Has anyone ever had this happen? Can't help but feel very down been here 5 days. Since my fluids have been showing high I don't understand maybe there was some sort of false positive in my test. I'd like to be at home on bedrest but he insist that I stay

Re: Amnisure Test fail

  • That stinks, but the doctor is taking good care of you and your baby!  Hopefully if you do have a high leak it will resolve itself soon and you can go home!

  • I have no information.  Have you tried the High Risk board?  There may be someone over there who has been through this.

I truly hope they get it figured out soon.  Hang in there!

  • Sorry you're dealing with this.  Hopefully it will resolve itself soon.  It sounds like good news that the doctor isn't overly concerned, but I'd probably be so paranoid at home if it were me!

  • I'd hate being stuck in the hospital too, but at least if something changes you're in good hands. I agree with @ashie0610, I'd be super paranoid at home.

  • No advice, but I'm both sorry you're stuck and glad you're getting great care!!

Is there anything you can get to help pass the time? A laptop with games, novels and magazines, board games/cards to play with DH and other visitors? Also, very yummy snacks. :( Hang in there!!
