Personal Goals

What are your personal goals for this week? What are you doing to take care of yourself?

**I'm thinking about making this a weekly thing. Opinions?
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

I think this is a great idea :)  I know that the last month has passed in a blur and that I've not accomplished so many things that I had planned on this summer.  I'm a teacher, so summer usually comes with a long "to do" list!

For this week- finish editing the wedding pictures from my cousin's wedding, complete one of my correspondence grad classes, and make it to the gym every day

I like it as a weekly thread. My goals this week are to get some laundry done- we are grossly behind on laundry- and to get back to my one soda a day rule- I drink way too much soda and not enough water

My goal this week is to get out and exercise more. The heat has really gotten me to stay in much more than I like and I have a feeling it's doing not so awesome things to my mood.

    I like this idea!
Unfortunately I got sick a couple days ago, and part of it is still lingering around kicking my butt. So I guess my goal is to get rest and recover quickly.  My H and I are supposed to go house hunting Saturday (we are moving out of state) so I need to be better by then!
ETA: So, I suppose another goal is to find a house! :)

Thanks! We're moving to Arizona. DH is there now, since he already started the new job.  He left the morning on the day of our m/c, how's that for timing? We just sold our house so I'm excited for us to find a new home and get settled in.

My goals would be to finish moving my things out of my old classroom ... I would love to be able to move into my new classroom, but I am still waiting on my room assignment.

@heartbot so sorry to see you here. Hugs from another feb15'er. I think we are allowed a week of junk, right?

My goal is to get through the d&c. Not much beyond that.

We are in the process of selling our house and buying a new. Offers accepted on both, working through inspections and appraisals then waiting on close date. Our buyer wants possession at closing so we have to juggle our stuff around for a day or two. So this weeks goal is to get the storage unit and start moving the random stuff we won't use between now and closing. Other goal is to have fun at a family get together this weekend. I'm struggling as this is family we haven't seen in forever and I was looking forward to this day to tell them I was pregnant.

My goal is to sleep more this week. I don't think I've slept much at all in the past two months and I'm definitely cranky. I just need to stop worrying and thinking about why I keep miscarrying..easier said than done of course.

I am trying to start swimming again. It is my biggest stress relief and is how I have dealt with my depression and anxiety over the past 7 months. I haven't been able to swim since my miscarriage but I have finally stopped bleeding!
