Teeth Grinding?

Grace has recently started grinding her teeth, but it sounds more like her teeth are breaking scares the crap out of me. It's just started recently. Teething sign? Normal? It is literally worse than nails on the chalk board for me. Like i check her teeth to make sure they don't look physically broken. She's also started to bite hard on things. She has a necklace that is beaded but the beads are fixed on (like a mardi gra type) and she bit a bead and it cracked all over her mouth.

Leo isn't doing it right now but both my kids go through phases of doing it. Mixed with teething and just a sensory thing. I bet the biting is the same, just watch what she has access to bite and hope it isn't your arm!

Thanks for asking this. S has recently started with the grinding, clicking, whatever of her teeth. Horrible sound!! Glad I'm not the only one.

Seany did it for awhile. Oh that noise is horrible. If I noticed him doing it, I'd tell him to stop and then distract him with something. He hasn't done it in awhile *knock on wood*. He stopped in his own.

She woke with a 101.5 temp and I gave her some motrin which brought the temp down to 100.4 so maybe it's teeth related? I don't know. Hoping it is not long lived. I can't stand it.
