  That's such an awful feeling! I hope you feel better ASAP and that nothing is wrong. Can someone take you to your doctor, like DH or a coworker? Probably not a good plan to drive dizzy. T&Ps headed your way!!

  Oh no.  Maybe try a cool rag on you neck or head.  I hope it stops soon.  I have felt a little dizzy myself today but nothing like what you are going through.

  Just got a call back from the nurse. They want me to try laying on my left side for a while and call them back if that doesn't help or if my vision changes or I get a headache.
  
  @emerald27 - I will definitely not be driving. My boss would probably be able to take me if I need him to or my mom might be able to leave work to come get me. Unfortunately DH and I only have one car and I have it here today so he can't.

  I completely agree. Dizziness is awful, but you definitely shouldn't drive if you are that dizzy. I hope you have someone to drive you. I know it tastes awful, but I have found that coconut water really helps my dizziness and almost instantly hydrates you if you can choke it down. T&Ps

  T&Ps everything's ok. I had a bout of dizziness for hours right at 22 weeks and again at 23 weeks. My doc suggested a snack b/n breakfast and lunch on days where I ate oatmeal for breakfast and even MORE water. With the summer heat sometimes you need even more water than what's usually suggested. Hope you get some relief soon.

  I talked to the nurse again. Laying down didn't help, but nothing got worse. She said its probably either a blood sugar issue or from the amount of blood in my body changing. I'm supposed to go home and lay down the rest of the day and drink lots of water.
  
  My sil is on her way mow to pick me up, so MO worries about me driving.

  That stinks.. I get dizzy like that every single day and it drives me crazy! I talked to my doc today and he said its probably low blood sugar or anemia.. I have to do my glucose test tomorrow, which both will be checked for.. hope you get some answers and feel better soon!

  Ah, so sorry that you're dealing with this! I've been having the same thing with black spots in my vision, and blood sugar management ended up being the culprit. I've been especially careful about pairing carbs with as much protein as I can stand, and it's helped a ton. Turns out I was only getting about half of my recommended protein every day. I hope you get to feeling better soon...it's a scary feeling!

  I get bad vertigo spells, the only thing that keeps me from either passing out or throwing up is taking a nap.  I wake up with a headache but it makes the room stop spinning!

  Do you take your blood sugar at all? That is a sign if hypoglycemia also.. I had this happen several times today and by blood sugar was dropping in the 40's

  Yeah...my sugars are always normal. Just vertigo. Yay me :-/

  Hope it's not vertigo or anything serious!  I've suffered from vertigo for years and it's not a picnic.  Agree with the PP who mentioned naps !!!
