Introduction newbie

I am 27 years old and have been TTC for 2yrs 9 months now. I have been on clomid for 6 months and just had my first IUI this past Sunday. I have been on the bump app before about a year ago but much has changed so it may take some time getting use to all the changes. I've already put my foot in my mouth since I've been on here.

    Are you being monitored with ultrasound and bloodwork on Clomid?

    I'm new here, and 27 also! Best of luck with your IUI.

    Me: 27 DH: 35

    TTC #1 Since July 2013

    Started RE Testing July 2014

    2 HSG tests: Right tube is blocked, possible endo.

    TSH elevated, started Synthroid 25 mg daily.

    October, 2014: Femara 5 mg + TI ---> 3 follies on blocked tube side ---> BFN

    November, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI#1--2 follies (on the good side), 46 mil. motile sperm=BFN

    Nov-Dec 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #2 (1 follie, 76 mil. motile sperm) + Endometrin=BFN

    January, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #3 (1 follie, 38 mil. motile sperm)=???

    New RE appt. scheduled for 1/14.

    Welcome. I'd strongly recommend a RE and ultrasound monitoring in addition to the blood work. Good luck!

    9/2014 And now adding hypothyroid to the list- Started synthroid 9/2014
    Cycles 1-4 - Sept.-March- All Anovulatory 
    IUI #1 March/April-  Clomid 50mg + Clomid 100mg +Trigger + IUI #1 = BFN
     IUI #2 April/May-Clomid 100mg + Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #2 + Endometrin=BFN
    IUI #3- June- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3  Benched due to a 40 mm cyst. :-(
    IUI #3- July- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3 + Endometrin = BFP! on 7/25/14
    Slowly rising betas - Ectopic suspected on 8/8/14 & confirmed on 8/11/14
    Methotrexate on 8/12/14 -HCG negative on 9/2/14
    IVF #1- November- Antagonist protocol: 11/1: start stims, 200iu of Follistim; 11/12 ER 17R/14M/14F; 11/17 5 day transfer of two blasts, 2 blasts and 2 expanding morulas frozen; 11/22 BFP!! (On FRER at 5dp5dt)
    Betas: 9dp5dt 205, 11dp5dt 497, 14dp5dt 1,709
    u/s at 5w0d- 1 sac; u/s at 6w0d 1 baby with heartbeat, another sac without a heartbeat

    Trying since 1/2012, RE 6/2014 
    Letrozole & TI June 2014-September 2014 -BFN
    October 2014 - IUI #1, lertozole - BFN
    November 2014 - IUI cancelled due to holiday, TI & Lertozole - BFN
    December 2014 - TI 
    January 2015 - IUI #2 - ?

    I am not sure why my OB has not monitored my ovulation with ultra sound but I do pay OOP so it might be a little costly for me. The OB put me on the clomid and I will be on it for another two months if the IUI is not successful. After that we will be moving on to other things or possibly taking a break. Fingers crossed this is our month!

    Ouch! I'm sorry you had to go through that! I can imagine the hospital bill and the ruptured cyst were both painful! Was it from using Clomid?

    I lot of us here, myself included, are 100% OOP. It sucks....hard. But it would suck worse to do irreparable damage to your reproductive system. Is a referral to an RE an option?

    I really don't know much. I have mainly just been going by what my OB tells me to do. Our fertility issue has mainly been my husband sperm count. I had an ultra sound about 6-8 months ago and a HSG and all was normal.

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Folistim + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim  - no response, repeated Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI = success! 12/2014

    Beta 1 - 15 dpiui, 324, Beta 2 - 17 dpiui 750. Twins!!

    When the 3 months of IUIs are up I will be referred to an RE.
