How early is too early to test?

I am 11 dpiui. I am losing my shit with the symptoms/not symptoms and I want to take a test tomorrow morning. I took Clomid and then an Ovidrel trigger shot this cycle. Tomorrow will be 14 dpt.

I am full of anxiety because I just want a goddamn answer, but I don't want either a false negative or a false positive to destroy me. I was determined to wait until 14 dpiui to test but the closer to 14 days I get the further away it feels.

Any suggestions? Would you wait until Thursday or I am I far enough past my trigger and my iui to get an accurate reading?

Every time I have tested out my trigger it's gone between 5-7 days but it definitely varies from woman to woman. My RE says that 16dpt is the first day I'm supposed to "trust" a positive but, like I said, I know mine goes out quickly. GL!

I usually start testing at 12 days post trigger. It could potentially be too early to detect a pregnancy, but I feel confident that the trigger will be gone by then.

I'm in the same boat as you, but obviously have not been as patient.

I had IUI#1 on 7/5.

Since I read on here that sometimes you get a false positive from the drugs, I started doing HPT about 5dpIUI. Seemed like a good excuse as any to be OCD about it. Couldn't help myself I guess. Still getting BFNs, but fingers are still crossed (for me and for you!)

14 post trigger is likely long enough to be sure the ovidrel is gone, but it still may be early and you could get a false negative

I don't have any advice on the trigger, but tons of morale support! I am 9 dpo.... So close, so far away.... Hang in there & good luck!

I would test at 14...the chance of a false negative is very low by that point, although if you have no signs of a period a BFN on 14DPO can definitely create drama and anxiety, and I know from experience! Good luck with whatever you choose.

I went ahead and did it this morning. BFN!

DH thinks I should test again at 14 dpo, but I feel like the negative is right. I have all my usual AF symptoms so I guess we will just wait her out and then get ready for next cycle. Oddly tear free this morning. I was trying to be hopeful but I am too practical to really think we were going to get lucky on the first IUI.

DH was all "No worries, we'll get it next time!" this morning and then later on emailed me and was like "Fuck it, I'm pissed the world sucks."

And I was fine until then. Now I'm starting to get upset. I will probably have full on tears by end of day. But there is always alcohol.
