Re: Attn Plus Size Mamas: hands free pumping bra

  • I have an Arden Bra that I love the versatility of. I purchased the XL and I'm about a size 18, usually wear 40DD/XL tops...

  • I'm usually about a 42DD and I got a Medela hands free XL that works great and recently bought a Simple Wishes L-Plus that they sell at my hospitals boutique and it looks plenty big enough and very comfy but haven't actually tried it yet.

  • Yes- thanks everyone! Will be ordering soon!
  • I bought a cheap sports bra from walmart and cut a slit in each boob to slip the flanges (funnel part of pump) in the slits. I bought one that has clasps down the front. I put it on, took a pen and marked where each nipple was then took it off and cut a 1/2" or so slit.

This is exactly what I did, except I just used a sports bra with clip in the front that I already had. It works the same and its not like I have to be fashionable while pumping.

  • I got the one litera mentioned and it's working well. It's a little obnoxious to get on alone because it twist, but just barely. And I've been using it for a week and I worry it might start sagging. But, I've been pumping so much I haven't gotten a chance to wash it and see if that helps. But, for the price, it's been perfect.

  • I found this on Amazon - can't wait to try it out. Figured it'd be easier than having to splurge for a special pumping bra.

I ordered this on Saturday, got it today and it will work great! I'm a 46dd. Need to maybe order a center panel, but should be able to make it work. Thanks!!
