XP: girl names. All opinions welcome update

Hey ladies! I posted this on the baby names board as well. We found out via the Harmony test that we are expecting a little girl and we have narrowed it down to these two names. Background info: Big brothers name is Ethan, middle name for #2 is MIL name and our last name begins with an S. We are torn between these two and I think we both have our favorites. Thought this might be able to give us a third party opinion without running it by our family. If you choose the second one please let me know which spelling you prefer. Thanks for your input!

update: We decided that neither of these were going to work. We went with our original choice of Audrey Renee. Thank you for all of your input!

My vote was for Sydney, with a Y- with your last name beginning with S I think the alliteration is cute.

I love the name Sydney, but then she will have the initials SS. That was the Hitler group in WWII. So Harper is my choice.

I wanted to have Harper on my list of names if a girl. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound great with a Boston accent and my last name. Sad face!

Sydney with a "y". That is the female version of the name. I also prefer it with Ethan. IMO, Harper is very trendy. Sydney Renee is beautiful!

OP, I like both names, but for spelling on Sydney, I like the Y.

I like Harper for sure, though it's much more popular. I've already told you about my love for Sydney I think? Definitely with the y though, not i.

I voted for Sydney and I like that spelling better. I think when kids our LOs age get to school there's going to be a ton of Harper's. I love the name but not feeling the trendy, just my personal preference.
