We are eating every two hours over here and not interested in napping. Holy Hannah- this happening anywhere else? It's been a solid week of crazy. We are 11 weeks Wednesday. Yikes!
Oh yeah. Every two hours eating and only napping maybe 30 minutes at a time. I believe she's had 3 naps today. Only one of which was an hour. Every time she's about to fall asleep all hell breaks loose. She's 14 weeks Wednesday. Hoping it's just a phase because she is normally very easy going.
We've been in the "eat every 2 hours and nap like crap" camp for the past 5 weeks or so. The only thing that changed it was that we finally introduced tummy naps today. My LO's 30 minute nap turned into a glorious 2 hour nap today. He has, however, started to wake every 2 hours during the night again so I don't know about that...

Is every two hours during the day considered frequent? We've been doing that most of DS's life. Sleep has gone to hell the past few days. He used to give me a 5-7 hr stretch at night but now he might as well laugh in my face when I say that. I'm lucky to go 2 hours at night lately, and during the day he won't sleep for more than 10-15 minutes.

This. I get 2-3 hours at night the past few nights, 10-15 min naps in the day and eating every 1.5-2 hours.
Same here! LO will also be 11 weeks wednesday and I tell you, this growth spurt is no joke. Very shorts naps and eating like there's no tomorrow! Very agitated also.
DS has always eaten every two hours during the day (usually with one 3 hour gap...) and I used to get a couple hour long naps but now I have to hold him the majority of the naps. Though I don't want to complain because he's sleeping well at night. So I guess if I had to id choose better sleeping at night than day!

This exactly. But she sleeps through the night so I can't complain.
Emma typically eats every 2 hours during the day, i thought that was "normal." And i say it like that because it seems every LO has a different variation of normal.
We used to be every 3 hrs day & night. I think that changed a few weeks ago when he started eating every hour/hour and a half day & night. I can handle it during the day but seriously, at night? The napping has def gotten worse as well, no relief for me during the day. It has to be a phase, hopefully one that doesn't last long!
When C is awake, he eats every hour. If we can get him to nap, he'll go longer. And he goes longer at night. But yeah, during the majority of the time I'm awake I have him on my boob every hour.
Both here. Eating every 1.5 hr though...naps are 15 minutes. I put him on his tummy yesterday after Mf's thread. He slept for 2.5 hrs!!!! I however hovered over him the whole time but the rest and relief were so nice!!! Good luck!

We eat about every three hours during the day. We have occasional days where it's more like every 2 hours with no naps. Night time sleeping is still somewhat of a nightmare. I think at this point, we are still rolling with the punches and doing what LO wants even if it sucks for us.
DS has eaten every 1-2 hours without any naps and sleeping no longer than 2-3hrs total at night (at most!) from birth through 13 weeks. Weeks 11-13 were exceptionally bad for us! DS screamed all day and night and would nurse every hour for 45 mins.
As soon as he hit 3 months last Friday he's been napping at least twice a day and sleeping 2 4-6hr stretches at night and going more like 1.5-2.5hrs between feeds during the day. I EBF and nothing I tried would stretch his nursing sessions out or help with sleeping until he finished his third leap.
It sucks, hang in there, hopefully it's just a growth spurt week and your LO will be done soon!

10-15 minute naps? I'd go insane! Can you try baby-wearing? If I don't hold/wear LO she won't nap. But if I do have her physically attached to me somehow, she'll nap for two hours. I'm thinking, partly, that with her reflux she likes to belly sleep, which I don't let her do unless she's on me.

@hordol we have the same child. I am still on summer break but this shit isn't going to fly when the school year starts.
So for the last two days starting at around 3pm until I finally give her a bath at 630-645, LO refuses to nap. Even with a ride in the car she is still fighting sleep like crazy. So she whines and fusses for a solid 3 hour stretch at least. Absolutely refuses to sleep. After her bath and drinking 4 ounces over that stretch of time (an ounce or two at a time), I attempt to give her another bottle and she will drink an ounce and then passes out. So passed out that she won't even open her mouth for her paci. Totally off from her normal evening routine she had set for over 9 weeks. At least she's still sleeping until 4am though. Hoping all of us who are experiencing the madness see an end to it soon. I want my little sweetheart back!!!!

That's the thing, at this age, they constantly change! Routines are going to change and just when you get used to it, they will change again. Sometimes E gets like that, and if I take her in a quiet room, wrap her in a blanket with a pacifier in her mouth and hold her really tight across my chest, she'll calm down and go to sleep.
It's so interesting to hear everyone's stories and how crazy similar they are! Thanks to everyone for sharing I hope it brings you some comfort to know we are not alone and going through it together!
