Concieving after the injection

Hi my name is Amy and I was meant to have my injection again on the 31st dec but I didn't as my partner and I wanted to start trying for a baby... Has any body got any tips or advice or stoties? I still haven't had a period and some days I get really down about this. X

    They do say it can take around yr for things to return... But I'm going to ring my GP tomorrow as does anyone have any views of acupuncture?

    Coming off Depo, it can take up to a year to return to normal cycles.

    We just had a thread about Depo earlier this week that had a few stories about the ladies who are TTC coming off of Depo. It might be two pages ago now. If you use the search bar you can type in Depo users: past and present

    You should call your doctor, not a needle-wielder.

    Yes, to return to normal cycles- but she hasn't bled at all.

    That's still considered normal post-Depo. I've gotten a period every other week since I came off Depo in September. That's normal too. Depo has a wide range of normalcy.

    Was it Depo? My friends that have been on Depo report at least a year for their cycles to return. One had irregular cycles & it took them 2 years to conceive. There was most likely more going on, but almost every friend, or family member I've talked to about Depo has sworn never again.

    All you can do is wait & see how things go. Good luck.

    Yes it was the depo. Thank you I know it can take a while just getting fed up. Never thought I would say I can't wait to have a period. X

    Albeit, I should have been a fucking adult and researched shit for myself. But still. Informed consent or something.
