Pain under my right ribs!

Anyone else have or had this? It kinda feels like the underside of your bra is stabbing you but the pain's there-bra or not. Mine started around 28 weeks for me. It comes and goes. It feels like a stabbing pain. Gets worse at night when I'm sleeping in bed. Takes me a few to get out of bed! Does anyone know what this is? Its not gallbladder pain or stones because I had my gallbladder removed when I was 19! Any ideas of what this is or advice on how to relieve the pain is greatly appreciated!

    Pain on the upper right side of your abdomen is not something to take lightly. It's one of the signs of HELLP and I would definitely tell your doctor about it immediately. Mine felt like a side stitch on my right side although the pain can take on many forms

    I have a Dr appt coming up Thursday so I'll mention it.....I was planning on asking her about it anyways! Thanks!

    I had this beginning in 1st tri and then it went away for all of 2nd tri and has recently returned.  Sometimes, at night, it is EXTREMELY severe. My doctor keeps chalking it up to 'pregnant' and says baby is pressing on a nerve, but I agree with others to have it checked out, especially considering your timeline it could be an indication of HELLP

    You should definitely call your doctor and check it out.  The doctor checked me for pre-e and gall bladder issues when I started to have pains under my right rib cage. It is better to be safe than sorry! Luckily,  it turned out my DS just was bruising my rib cage with his kicks.
