What the?!?!

So I went for an HSG to see why I keep on failing my saline sonogram and the radiologist inserted the catheter and tried three times to inject the contrast. Not a drop would go up because my uterus is fused together right above my cervix! He said that he had no way to know what's above the closure without surgery. Now I have to go back to my RE and find a surgeon that is willing to go up there, detach the walls from one another (if they can even do that) and see what lies above the fusion. This is so much harder that I expected. Has anybody ever heard of this before!?
Also, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. The IF seems to only really cater to baby #1. Thanks for listening.

Hmmm. Never heard of the walls fusing. My RE did my HSG and couldn't thread the catheter through the sharp curve of my cervix. He had to inflate the balloon in my cervix instead of the uterus. I wonder if that radiologist is used to doing HSGs. MH is a radiologist and he never does the actual injecting of the dye. He is just there to take pics and interpret them. Just a thought.

I assume the procedure the radiologist is describing is what my SIL had done, although I don't know the details. They just told us the doctor did surgery to "clean up the weeds." I believe her official diagnosis was Asherman's Syndrome. I'm sure the RE will have a good rec for a surgeon, as I think this is a problem they see all too often.

He said he couldn't even diagnose it as ashermans syndrome because he couldn't even see past the cervix. He said he kept on filling he balloon and the dye would leak out. The red line in where he said it was closed.

I second PP's recommendation to get a couple surgeons opinions.

Yes definitely post here. I have never heard of this. Wth was my first thought as well. I hope you can get some answers and unblock whats going on. Hugs mama!!
