How did you make this change? DS sleeps great in the RNP but not at all in a crib. He is rolling now and doing baby crunches. The time has come. So how did you go about this?
I probably made it more complicated than I need to, but rolled 3 blankets and made sort of like a u shape around the baby and put it under the crib sheet. With DS, I just loosened the u shape and with dd, I took away the bottom one first and then the sides. I like to take as many steps as possible
You have an early roller! I stressed about that move, too, but in the end I think it just happened when she was ready. Once a week or so, I would try putting her down in the crib. If it wasn't happening, I didn't push it. Finally, one time it just took. I know that's not very helpful.
Oh, and she slept at night in the crib for a good two months before I could get her to take a nap there. Up until then, naps were in my arms and usually attached to a boob. Finally, I just started attempting the crib naps until eventually it happened.
I put lo down for some naps in her crib for several weeks before we moved her. I also let her play in there awake to get used to it. The transition was great. She continued to STTN just fine. I was very worried about it, but apparently didn't need to be!

We did it cold turkey. My LO was I think 5 months and still sleeping in there. It was easier to transition than I thought. We also let him sleep on his tummy in the crib. I know it's not recommended but he would roll over to that position anyway. He just didn't like sleeping flat on his back.
We didn't have a RNP, but DD had reflux pretty bad and would only sleep in her crib at night. We rolled up towels (in half length wise and then rolled them up) and put those under her crib at one side. It was enough of an angle to help her not spit up as much and be uncomfortable. Maybe that would help?
Good luck! I remember all the switching we would do for sleeping (swaddle to no swaddle, napping wherever to napping in crib) and it always felt like such a PITA to get used to a new 'normal'.
