GTKY: Favorite random food

I just made a batch of ground cherry chutney -OMG SO good! It's not so easy to figure out what to do with these little gems. I collect 20-30 each morning... and sometimes more in the evening.. and a little more than half of them make it into the house.

This made me wonder - what is your favorite food that makes others go

Pickled eggs. I'm getting about ten eggs a day from my hens right now, and I can pickle a bunch at once. I like to use them for egg salad, DH likes to slice them and eat them on crackers.

I also canned cranberry conserve for Christmas presents last year; I ate a whole jar with a spoon. SO DELICIOUS...

Hands down 100% English muffin with scrambled eggs and peanut butter. Seriously. I know it sounds weird but if you don't try it, you are missing out!

Yeah, not really a weird food, but I like making those bagged muffin mixes (the kind you just add water or milk to) and then eating it out of the bowl.

@fuzzylogic‌ that sounds really good actually. I make mine alone to avoid judgement from DH..lol..I think he'd much prefer the muffins to the batter.

I may have had Kraft Dinner with hotdogs for breakfast this morning. In my defense, I was really hungover.

I was really hungover on Saturday and all I could think about was Kraft Mac & Cheese. We didn't have any (which is strange in our house) and I was heartbroken. I still am craving it.

My strange food--Cool Ranch Doritos with a glass of cold milk. I. Love. It.
