Help I have a cold - Umcka?

I woke up with a sore throat this morning and my nose is running like a faucet. I feel horrible now.
(DS2 has a ear infection and I'm pretty sure I caught whatever he had)
My mom suggested Umcka (a homeopathic remedy) but I wasn't sure if it was OK or not while BF. Anyone know? Or Zicam?
I'm going to try Flonase and Claritin for now and call my dr. in the morning but I'd like to catch it and nip it in the bud early.

    Family dr. didnt know but said keep taking OTC Loritadine type meds and gave me an antibiotic. Hopefully I'll feel better soon. Going to try to call my ObGyn and see if they know anything in case there is a next time.
