My baby has Dandruff.

I'm sure there's been a post about this, so please link me if I missed it!

But my baby is molting. I wouldn't be concerned (aesthetically, at least) except that it seems to be itchy for her. We've tried baby oil, but all that did was make her look like a used car salesman with a flaky comb over.

Any other suggestions? I seem to remember something about Head & Shoulders shampoo.

I hope the other daycare babies don't judge her. ;-)

C had this problem about 3 weeks ago. We used olive oil and let it sit for 15 min, used an infant comb to gently comb the flakes away, and then washed with his reg shampoo. It cleared it up after 1 time. Good luck!

Another vote for olive oil, letting it sit, and then combing off some of the scales. I joke that it is his spa treatment.

Our ped also said we could use H&S if we avoided eyes.

You might try a soft bristled tooth brush to very gently scrub. That plus head and shoulders got things cleared up nicely.

Scratching like a monkey! hmm let's hope this works. She just started doing this and she's made some of the scales loose!

I also use head and shoulders and a soft toothbrush. We also only bathe C 2 or 3 times a week. It seems to be working.

We also do the baby oil, baby comb method... The scales come off in the comb... crazy how much there is!! Then we shampoo/bathe. Leaving it alone only made it worse for us.
