DH's client had to go to the Phsyc Ward....

So DH is at the ER with him now. Looks like a long night at the hospital for him.

Happy New Year to me. You ladies are my New Year's dates.

    What does your DH do?  and are you at liberty to say why his client went to a psych ward?? I'm curious. haha

    Wait, what does your dh do that requires him to go to the psych ward with a client?  This sounds about as fun as my dh being on call over the holidays.  Nothing like a bunch of prescription med addicts calling you with fake symptoms on Christmas Eve to get their fix.  Grrrrar!

    hahahah i called my dentist on a holiday last year

    my molar absessed and it felt like someone was drilling into my jawbone

    i believe the message i left went like this *tears/crying hysterically* "dr. h, please please please just call me back i can come in right away i need my tooth pulled right now.  i dont want any medicine, i'm not looking for pills!!! just get it out get it out!!!!! im going to die!!!!!!!!"

    he called back.  told me to get some oragel and then come in the next day and i got it yanked.  he prescribed me lortabs anyway, i took one, then puked on my shoes.  notsogood. lortab doesn't work for me.

    He does "Community Protection". Basically he monitors clients who are "different". A variety of issues, they can be developmentally delayed, behavioral problems, mental problems, or pedifiles.

    I can't say names of course, but his client flipped out the last couple of days. Locked DH out of the house, tired to choke DH and his boss, threatened DH and other staff, and locked another client in his room.

    Thank goodness I have only had to go the psyc ward with clients once or twice.  NOT FUN!  I hope he's not stuck there all night.

    Yeah, doesn't exactly make me feel comfortable. Good thing I don't actually know these people.

    Not fun...I'm the one who evals them at the hospital.  Instead I sit here by myself on NYE.  Hopefully the ER isn't busy and they'll triage him quickly.

    I hope so. Last I checked, DH said he was still in Triage.
