I was away the last four days - we brought our daughter and a friend to Minneapolis, to the mall and Valley Fair. My Canadian wifi was sketchy so I didn't get online much. I have a lot of catching up to do.
This was my first time in a crowded public place since we lost Finn. It was more difficult than I imagined. Everywhere I looked I saw babies: newborns who reminded me of him, baby boys, babies who would be his age now. It was hard, triggers were everywhere breaking my heart over and over.
I couldn't look at baby clothes, even though I wanted to for this baby. Seeing all the little boy stuff was just too much.
I'm glad the whole experience is over.
We returned home late last night, and this morning got to start the day seeing baby on ultrasound. Everything is looking great, baby is right on track at 10w6d with a heart rate of 161. ❤️
I feel I can breathe a little deeper now.
