I forgot the bottles of milk this morning for LO. My MIL is now going to buy milk and bottles. I feel so crappy when I do these things in front of her.

My brother and I are supposed to have a deal where I buy the cat food and cat litter and he is supposed to take care of the litter boxes. He hasn't been holding up his end of the deal. Trash comes today and I wanted the litter boxes completely dumped out so they can go out with the trash. He didn't do it last night like he was supposed to. So I got to do it first thing this morning. And the trash bag started ripping when I got it outside so now we have a trail of litter/poop from our front door to the road that I get to take care of in a little bit. Ugh!

I stayed up "late" working on my thesis. I tried to go to sleep at 11:30, but come 1:30, I was still wide awake. I don't think I fell asleep until 2, by which point LO decided that 2:40 was a good time to wake up.

For some reason I'm not tired. I'm dreading when it really hits me.

And I'm super stressed about finding a job. It would help if I would actually start looking.

I really don't want a job though. But financially we really need it, like yesterday.

Days like this I really regret moving from our condo to a house.

Ben slept through the night on Thursday. That was nice. Since then he has woken up around 230 every night and won't go back in the crib once I get him back to sleep. I think he's mistaken me for a lovey. Why doesn't he know that a pregnant mama needs sleep?!

Andplusalso I've been making terrible sleep decisions by staying up late watching x-files with DH because that is our only time together.

So many first world problems.

DH and I finally had a come to Jesus talk about our budgets and overspending. We sat down yesterday for 3 hours and got it all worked out. I'm working on a grocery list for the next week and because we are out a lot of things I am all ready guesstimating being over budget by about $20. Balls. No matter what I tweak it'll be over... Guess I'll be taking that $20 from my personal spending envelope or deducting it from next weeks groceries.

DH's parents took out a parent plus loans when DH was going through college in addition to the loans he took out. His parents have been making us pay the parent plus loans for the past couple of years. Even though it if for the parents to help pay for their kid's education and it is in his mother's name. Well, it has been hurting us financially since I am a SAHM and we have our own bills to pay. We told them we aren't in a position to pay it anymore and that it is not our bill to pay. They are extremely angry. They want to have a "serious talk" with DH and I am nervous for him because he does not do well with conflict and does whatever his parents want him to do.

Mancold here. And, of course if it were a legit mancold I could lay on the couch for hours on end and complain that I can't reach the remote. BUT, I have the mom cold. Which means I feel as crappy as the man cold, but I still have to do all my normal crap and the kids don't let me lay on the couch. Go ahead. Call the wahhhmbulance.

Last night was an epic fail. My pee stick is barely even dry, and I was already struck with insomnia, heartburn, getting up to pee 5 times, and a surprise nosebleed last night. Seriously? Once I finally drifted off, W started vomiting, and was of course upset about it. Poor guy. I calmed him down and we went back to sleep. Cue more vomiting, rinse, repeat. Good morning, I'm tired as fuck and W is happy as a clam now!

@anw39‌ we are doing a bit of a mish mash of his budgeting tips. We always pay our bills on time but tend to only pay the minimum on credit cards and then fritter away our money. We decided to cut out eating out and entertainment other than Netflix and cable. It's too hot here for outdoor stuff right now anyways. We each get a set amount of money in our personal envelope to play with. What's left after bills are paid is being split between the credit cards and the savings account. We are paying more to our lower balance card and once it's paid off (end of the year) we will start hitting the higher balance card. The other thing we are bad about is groceries. Last month we spent $800 on the 4 of us! Our goal is to get that down to $520. We are also going to stop using our debit cards except for paying bills online. It's just too easy to blow a $100 without even thinking about it. Hopefully this works! We are both terrible about spending money.

@HoneyB1993 That sounds really hard on your H. I think therapy would be a helpful reminder in this situation that certain things are unintentional and easily forgiven.

I love summer here because its pretty much the only time on the west coast when it isnt raining. However. I am so done with it being so hot. Our yard gets the sun most of the day so I cant really be outside and I have every window and door open and the fan on and Im still sweating while sitting down. Also, our couch is leather so Im scared to move in fear of losing some skin.

Plus it does not help that Im 7 months pregnant.

At this point, and I know I'll regret it later, I wish it would rain.

And yes, I tried calling to see if I could get it dropped since I'm going to register it in Colorado anyway, but I can't get through to a person.

After Colorado are guys moving back to Cali? Getting plates in Colorado is so expensive well it depends on the type of car you have the year and it's worth. if you plan going back to Cali I would get the sticker and keep your car registered there.
