NBR: Toothache...Owie!

I had two fillings done last Wednesday, relatively small ones. The thing is that now that entire side of my head has been killing me since. Pain starts in my teeth where I had the fillings and up through my sinuses and forehead. I know we have(had) a dentist/dental-type mommas in our group, so I'm curious how long is it normal for teeth to hurt after fillings? It's been at least a decade since my last one, so I've forgotten whether it hurt like this before. I'm seeing the dentist again on Wednesday, so I'll be sure to mention it (if it still hurts then)!

Re: NBR: Toothache...Owie!

  • "Chewing sensitivity" is a good descriptor - there's also a fairly constant, dull ache.  I'm going back Wednesday, for a filling on the other side, so I'll be sure to have them recheck the bite.

    Thanks!
