My pregnancy brain is so bad, I can't even remember what my random was, which is why I started this post to begin with. On the topic of PB, I have successfully hidden my shoes so well that even DH can't find them.
I have my first hypnobirthing class today. I am excited about that. In ended up signing up for private lessons because the classes offered at the time were too close to my due date. I am hoping that this will work out well for me. As soon as I heard about it, it intrigued me.
We're taking DD to a carnival today and it's going to be 90º+. I know for some of you ladies that's nothin, but for my poor, WA home-grown self, it's too damn hot! (
Ok ladies, here are the pictures I found. Let me know which one you like best. Also, there is some weird shit on the internet and many things I can never unsee...
Those boob snake pictures are disturbing. I vote for the first one.
I need to go get groceries and dog food, but I just want to sit and watch Parks & Rec. I'm so happy my mom is here, but it kind of feels like vacation and I need to remind myself I go back to work tomorrow.
Ps- I need healthy snack suggestions compatible with braces. I need to quit the mid afternoon cookie binge I've been on lately. Any suggestions?
1) I am nausish and not feeling hreat. Made it to church this morning. Though all I want to do is go back to bed. I actually got a good not sleep last night. Hope it continues for a few nights in a row. 2) Need soda too and can not have it until lunch time because my BS numbers have been so high at lunch time. So they are giving me until Tuesday to get them back down.
My pregnancy brain was so bad this morning that I used three plates to assemble my breakfast. I only remembered getting one out of the cabinet, but there were clearly three out on the counter by the time my breakfast was ready.
We are officially looking for a home! We went to look at our first group of homes yesterday and sadly, were disappointed by the options, but are really excited that the process has begun!

@MRSclarke08 The article that accompanies the picture won't help you. It is kind of hard to follow and the mother goes through many different sex changes It's total BS of course.
Fellow boob snaker here. And the incisions from my breast reduction look absolutely terrible. DH is only allowed to view and handle breasts in the dark or while in bra.
Long story here, but it's a good one.
DH and I went for a walk this evening, and were joined by a kitten. She would run up ahead of us, and then come back and rub up against our legs; it was darling. She even followed us all the way home, where, of course, I fed her and she ate like she had never seen food before. When she was done she curled up on my lap, purred, and head butted me like crazy. I brought one of the little cube houses that my cats no longer use into the backyard, put her food in there, and quietly left her while she was eating and safe.
Well, she's spent the last 3 hours moving from our front porch to window sill, where Benzene and Calvin both met her through a window screen. They lay like mirror images of each other and just sort of check each other out. "Friendly cat", as DH has termed her, is extremely vocal , and she cries until she can see a human at the window or one of us touches her.
She's wearing a flea collar, so I'm hoping she is owned and just ran away. I'm going to take her to a shelter tomorrow to check for a microchip, and if she's not chipped, start calling rescue organizations in our area.
I wish we could take her in, but with a baby coming it's just not the right time. Hearing her cries is killing me, especially since she's a little love. . I hope we can help find her a home, she would definitely make someone very happy.
So, DH checked the perimeter for "friendly cat" before going to the golf course this morning - he found her sleeping in the cube I left outside last night. He fed her, and he said she started playing in front of the house when he was leaving for golf. I've decided to skip taking her to the shelter and just take her right to the vet when I work from home this week; they will call all the local shelters (and give her a full work up) and see if anyone has reported her missing. If no one has I will likely bring her into the basement for a couple days while I hang flyers and also try to find her a place with a shelter/home. I can't believe she slept in the cube last night - it breaks my heart, but I'm glad she had somewhere safe.

@golfingdarwinfish Aw! Poor kitty! It sounds like she was abandoned, how sad. How fortunate of her to find you. Not many people would have taken such good care of her. I hope you find her a home.
I bought a prenatal belly dancing dvd. It should be here tomorrow. I did take some belly dance classes back in the day and I am intrigued.
Also. I am now obsessed on find dining out options that work with my GD diet. It makes the weekends a bit more fun if I can actually get out of the house to eat ( but I am saving money on my lunches now)
I am not a registry lurker... but I was editing some things yesterday and saw that someone already purchased our car seat and diaper bag (neither of which are small or inexpensive items) I was really shocked/grateful/surprised that something was even purchased already and I am sure it wasn't my MIL or my mother. I don't know why I am surprised, but I guess I didn't expect to get some of these items! And shower isn't for another 4 weeks!
My son found my nano when I was organizing some of the old baby stuff and is using it as a pretend cell phone. It is making me laugh because he is so serious as he is babbling into it and walking around.
